Matron of Honor
Missy is the Bride's oldest sister--by 14 years! Of all my older siblings, Missy is the one I've always felt the closest to. I remember as a young lady in 2003 at age 12 being a part of her wedding to my brother-in-law Dave--and they are still happily married! We may not have grown up together but I am grateful that, while I wasn't blessed with full blood siblings, through our Dad I got to know 5 wonderful older siblings who I love dearly. So according to DNA they are 'half' but who's being technical?
Bridesmaid
Lori is another older sibling on the bride's side--8 years older! Always one to make you laugh! Her oldest son Nick was once used as a tester for a phonics assignment I believe when I was in college in one of my education classes. He didn't quite past the test like I hoped LOL (I think he was just a bit too young at the time) and I ended up using another kid. He's now of almost legal age--18! Her daughter Trinity is also a sweetheart. Glad to have pictures throughout the years of the kids growing up.
Bridesmaid
Shelly is yet another older sibling of the bride--6 years older. She is actually a twin. Her fraternal twin, my older brother Mike, sadly suffered a horrific, unfortunate accident and left this earth on new year's day 2020. His life, along with several others who we miss dearly, will be surely celebrated on our special day. This photo is actually like 20 some years old lol--definitely will get updated this year!
Bridesmaid
Anastasia is one of the bride's best friends from her college days at NDC! (South Euclid, not Indiana.) This is crazy considering we weren't in the same graduating class. I was 2013 and she was 2015. We've gratefully kept in touch over the years and have had the honor to be invited to her wedding in recent years and am paying it back by having her not only being invited but to be a part of it! Excited to share some of these amazing moments with my bestie! :)
Bridesmaid
Mary is the the groom's younger sister--10 years younger than him. Ever since I first met Chris, meeting Mary didn't come very far after that. We instantly clicked. In the early years when Chris and I were dating, Mary still lived in Ohio with Chris and was going to college to getting a physiology degree at CSU and there were plenty of times where we hung out and had great times going on many adventures. Since her move to Indiana after graduation with her husband Tony, the talks and visits have obviously been few and far between but I consider her the younger sister I never had!
Best Man
Chris and Jack are the most recent of friends--each meeting each other while working at Swagelok in Solon. Both still presently work there, and Jack is honored and looking forward to being with Chris as a best man on his special day, a title Chris gave him the privilege to have stepping up from a scheduled groomsman with about 4 1/2 months to go until the wedding. That's a true, wonderful friend!
Groomsman
Chris has known Adam since they used to work at Marcs. They've enjoyed going to concerts together. Of all the men in the wedding party, Adam is the only one who currently has a significant other and a family. If you think Chris waited long enough to get a ring lol, Adam was with his girlfriend about 10 years before he proposed!
Groomsman
Chris and Matt first met when both were working at Amazon and, even though neither of them work there anymore, Matt will arrange, as time allows, a guys card night for them to play Magic with some of their other buddies. I love how each of the guys in the wedding party are each a part of Chris' work and friend life throughout the years.
Groomsman
Rick is the bride's youngest cousin. Rick and Chris got to get really connected through their love of Magic and video games and other things that men are always into lol :-D Whenever they are together, they are always talking something that's like a foreign language to me, aka "the Bride." He's really exited to be a part of another wedding party after just having been a groomsmen at his best friend's wedding in Sept 2025
Groomsman
While originally not a part of the wedding party because Chris hasn't really interacted with him much compared to his other guys who are all his friends he's known for a variety of years, unfortunate circumstances arose and Chris needed to do some shuffling of the men. He wanted to include my brother with this change as he felt obligated to make him a part of our special day because all my sisters are standing by my side.
