In August, Sorrento is at the peak of its Mediterranean summer: 🌡️ Average daytime highs: 29–32 °C (84–90 °F) 🌙 Nighttime lows: 20–23 °C (68–73 °F) ☀️ Sunshine: 10–11 hours of sun per day 💧 Rainfall: Very low — August is one of the driest months (occasional short thunderstorms, but rare) 🌊 Sea temperature: Warm and swimmable, around 26 °C (79 °F) 🌬️ Humidity: Can feel sticky/humid, especially mid-day, but evenings by the coast are breezier. What this means for guests: Days will be hot and sunny — light clothing, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are essential. Evenings are warm but comfortable, so a light layer is plenty.
