FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We completely understand that traveling for a destination wedding can feel more comfortable with additional company. While guests are more than welcome to travel with others and make a trip of it, due to space limitations and our wish to keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation at the wedding events. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so grateful you’re making the journey to celebrate with us.

Question

Can I post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We are so excited to see the day through your eyes! You are more than welcome to post Instagram Stories, "Outfit of the Day" (OOTD) shots, and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the celebration. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from sharing any "official" grid posts or photo galleries of the ceremony or the couple until we have had the chance to post our first official photos as newlyweds. We’ve waited a long time for this moment and would love to be the ones to "break the news" to the digital world first. Thank you for helping us keep this moment special!

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

DUH! We are going to be in Italy! Please make sure your passport is up to date so you can join in on our celebrations! Please note that if your passport expires within 6 months of travel, you may not be able to fly. As mentioned earlier, please ensure your passport is up to date.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying directly into the Catania Fontanarossa Airport, which is only through Delta Airlines. Although you can fly directly into Palermo through United, it is roughly a 3 hour drive to the area of the wedding. All other flights will connect and ultimately land in Catania. Make a vacation out of our wedding!! Feel free to travel anywhere in Europe before the wedding (or after).

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

We suggest you arrive either Friday (7/3) or Saturday (7/4) before the Wedding. This way, you can settle in and sightsee before the celebration and activities.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend keeping an eye on our Travel Page, where we’ll share updates on the best places to stay. From cozy B&Bs to boutique hotels, we’ll include options for different styles and budgets, along with tips on the most convenient areas for the wedding and nearby attractions.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. We’re not picky when it comes to wedding attire! All we ask is that you wear something that makes you feel your best and lets you dance the night away in comfort. The only exception? Just don’t outshine the bride and groom!

Question

Is there a color I should avoid wearing to the wedding?

Answer

To respect the bride and the bridesmaids, please do not wear ivory or pastel yellows. Other than that, Italy is colorful, and so should be our wedding. Wear what makes you feel confident!

Question

Is the Wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Reception will be outdoors!. We’ll provide updates on weather plans closer to the date. Bring a light sweater if needed for comfort, since it can get chilly in the mountains of Roccafiorita, Sicily.

Question

What language is spoken here?
