I've always looked up to Candy Girl and she never ceases to amaze me with her drive & zeal for success. She is the loving mother of my nephew & ring bearer, Ezra. She has a heart of gold and will do anything for her family. One thing I can count on with big sis, is she will speak her mind and keep it real no matter what. I’m grateful for the countless hair tips, credit/ money/debt advise and always vetting the guys that I date. I know she’ll always have my best interest at heart and I love how protective she is of me. So happy she’ll be by my side on this very special day, she wouldn't have had it any other way. It began at URI as acquaintances until I bugged him and he acknowledged our friendship. With many highs and lows, we have always stuck by each other. I thank God for allowing me to share time here on earth with him. I am blessed and honored to have Admir as my best man.

We've been friends since the 10th grade and connect in so many ways. She's my sister from a different Mister. We've shared everything from family to clothes and even a home. We've created so many memories over the years. People sometimes think were sisters and I've got accustomed to being called Keyona while people will have full blown conversations with her thinking she's me. Fun facts about us: both of our maternal grandmothers share the same birthdate, we both have fathers with the name Michael and younger brothers named Mickey Jr. We had the special opportunity to date at the same time, get engaged a month apart and get married two months apart (talk about friendship goals). Oh how bitter sweet it will be when we have to move out and separate.... 🎶You and me us never part, Makidada.🎶

Britany and I date back to middle school. My first BFF. We have memories from Backstreet Boys to rocking Sketchers. The Myers family mean so much to me as they've always been like family and looked out for me. I'm the God Mother of her mini-me J'adore and I still to this day call her father (Al Myers) Dad. Since I came into their life they coined the name for me "5" as I was like their 5th adopted child. If I didn't come straight home from school or answer my pager, my mom knew exactly where to find me as her home was like my second home. Even though she moved away in 9th grade, we managed to stay in touch over the years and I even had the opportunity to live in Sacramento for a while after High School with them. This guy, what can I say about Jonathan "Jay" Gomes? A lot!!! He is not my cousin, he is my little brother. Growing up we were like pinky & the brain, cat & dog, Keenan & Kel, peanut butter & jelly. We laughed, we cried laughing, so many highs, hardly any lows. We fight and make up, I always get the upper hand lol. Jonathan is amazing, words really cannot describe this man, he is kindhearted, has an amazing heart, outgoing, super encouraging, and can make a boring event live. He is my brother like no other. God sent me to California for a real reason not only to marry Mechelle but to elevate you as you do me. Thank you for always sticking with me. Chanelle is one of my oldest friends and we date back to before middle school. I admire her because she has such a good heart and is a superwoman. While raising 4 beautiful children, working full-time and completing her degree as a full-time student, she still makes time to serve and give back to others. We share so many memories, from walking to and from middle-school everyday, to fun-filled girls trips, and even studying the bible together. Watching Chanelle flourish into the beautiful women she is today as we've grown our friendship and matured together has been an honor and I am blessed to have such a thoughtful friend like her. Cameron is a brother to me and we date back to the womb, since our mothers were close friends and pregnant with us at the same time. Cameron is the kind of friend you can be serious with and then bust out in laughter with over a silly insider from when we were younger. My fondest memory with Cameron is when his mom used to babysit my sister and I and we would watch our favorite movie Charlotte's Web or play out side in the backyard. Thanks for taking me to my prom since no one else would ask me and then making me feel special enough to take me to yours. His friendship has always meant so much to me and anyone who knows me knows about our life long friendship together. Having you part of this day is priceless and I know you wouldn't have missed it. I've created many memories with my sister as a young child from sleep overs and weekend visits to painting the town red as adults and even living together as roommates for a period of time. My sister-cousin. From the time we met we became so close, like sisters. I've never met someone who does so much for their family and friends and just loves effortlessly. I remember a time when Cassie and her mother (my late aunt Darlene, RIP) allowed me to move in after my mom and I weren't seeing eye to eye. Even though I was a stubborn head, Cassie always had my best interest in mind and would give me the shirt off her back. I'm so proud of her, a football mom, raising two handsome boys, pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors while balancing a social life and helping others; Cassie is a strong fighter and I know she will have my back during my special day. I met Abdul my first year in College, he was an entrepreneur at heart, and me being persuaded easily, at the time was drawn to his ideas. We created our first shirt together and sold a few. Over time our friendship grew. We had long rap sessions, Yes, I rapped, it was sad yet funny to watch although we had a blast. Abdul goes by the name of Spocka Summa, his evolution over the years has impressed me, one of my favorite artists. My sweat nephew. Ezra is such a bright kid, he amazes me with his intelligence and zeal to learn. I like to believe I encouraged his analytical skills as I introduced him to board games at a very young age, as soon as he was able to talk. I remember babysitting him since he was only months old and he always stayed up after me until his parents came home, making me look unfit to sit a toddler as he's roaming the house while I'm snoozing. But he turned out great, so no harm done. Ezra is such a mature kid for his age as he skipped a grade so he's use to hanging with the big dogs, he knows analytical stats of his favorite basketball teams and often knows the current scores of any game that's playing at any given time. Ezra will be such a handsome ring bearer. Love you nephew!
