It's always the two individuals who have a cute 1st meeting, their situations are unique, some shenanigans ensue, they fall in love, overcome obstacles, and live happily ever after. Here's our love Story: The Meetup: On February 10th, 2018 a mutual Facebook friend of Gerald & Mecca created a simple Facebook post: Let's play HOOKUP. If you are single and have no Valentine drop a picture and the person that likes your picture can be your Valentine's date! Mecca wanted no parts of the process stating that only creepos would participate or some people would be hurt by not receiving any likes at all. True to form, Gerald made a sarcastic response and Mecca reacted to it. They bantered back and forth about following the rules of their friend's post, but it was Gerald's gentleman-like quality of asking her permission before he slid in her DM's that won Mecca over. They talked all day, and night for several days. and on Feb 14th, 2018, they were each other's valentine's date.

After the valentine's day date they were inseparable. Like teenagers, they spent all their time laughing together on the phone or cuddled up in the car outside during cold nights talking about life. So a month after they met, Gerald & Mecca made their relationship official on Facebook. They had so much in common from their love of Marvel, Sports, Disney, to their love of different genres of music. They even shared a love for the same music artists. Mecca introduced him to POPs collectibles and he introduced her to Wing Stop ranch dressing. They shared the same vision of the perfect family and future. They both wanted to build a legacy for their family that included wealth, happiness, travel, freedom, and dogs! So they set out to build this future together as one team. It wasn't long after that they moved in together and began taking steps to build this life. They've purchased a home together, become legal domestic partners, purchased some puppies, and even took their first family vacation to Walt Disney World Florida. They've been 100% all-in ever since.
