Bassem & Mecca's Ceremony
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. If the weather isn’t ideal, don’t worry—it will still take place outside, but under a shelter. We’ll have a few light bites for you to enjoy, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

The Black Barn is an indoor/outdoor venue. We’ll provide sandals and heel covers, but please note it’s outdoors and about an hour from the downtown core.

Bassem & Mecca’s Post-Wedding BBQ Celebration

We know many of you are traveling from afar, and we want to soak up every extra moment we can with you! Join us for a laid-back BBQ hosted by our parents..the perfect way to wind down and close out the wedding weekend together. You’ll get to try Hidar Fayad’s (father of the bride) famous laham mishwee (think perfectly grilled, melt-in-your-mouth skewered meat) and cool off with scoops from Sosyal Scoops, a local Edmonton ice cream truck serving Mecca’s favourite sweet treat. Because no celebration is complete without dessert :) For the Pickleball enthusiasts, we’ve got you covered. We rented a spot with courts because, let’s be honest, Bassem couldn’t resist sneaking in some games. Bring your paddles, your A-game, or just your best cheerleading energy. There’s also a park for the kiddos, so while the wedding itself is adults-only, this BBQ is family-friendly. We’d love to meet your little ones and your partners. Come and go as you please..we can’t wait to see you!
