Where should I stay?

Answer

We have room blocks at TWO different locations: The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (the wedding venue) and the Sunset Tower Hotel. The Sunset Tower Hotel is within 5 miles of the Hollywood Roosevelt, and is one of our favorite bar/restaurant locations with a great view, fantastic food, and Old Hollywood feel. If you're staying at either The Hollywood Roosevelt or the Sunset Tower Hotel, upon making your reservation, please let the front desk know you are part of the "Bunzel/Rocker Wedding Room Block." How do I get around your weird spread out city?

Answer

Public transportation is kind of a no-go here. We recommend renting a car if possible, so you can really have the full LA experience. If you're headed out to a bar or restaurant, please utilize ride share services like Lyft or Uber. That way, you don't have to worry about parking, which can be tricky in LA.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie so please dress accordingly!

What am I eating for dinner and what if I have food restrictions?

Answer

No problem! Menu options will be included in the formal invitation so you will make your choice there! There will be a meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan option. For dessert, there will be gluten free and vegan options as well!

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! Our main registry can be found on this website, and is through Zola, which is a wedding platform that pulls from a multitude of stores all at the same time. That can be accessed on this website under "Registry" at the top of the page. For those who prefer to shop in-store or to shop from one specific vendor, we also are registered at Bloomingdale's (Maggie Bunzel and Austin Rocker). The Bloomingdales Registry can also be found under the Registry tab at the top of this page. If registries not for you, do not worry! We are honored you are attending our wedding!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It is all indoors so don't worry about weather issues, heels on grass or long walks! Our venue is fully handicap accessible as well.

What time is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will begin at 6PM! Please arrive by 5:15PM in the hotel lobby. Champagne and old Hollywood tunes will be awaiting you upon your arrival!

Is there parking at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you are driving, there will be complimentary valet for the entire night in a secure, private parking garage. If you are using a ride share service, please ask your driver to drop you off at the valet entrance. There will be no shuttles, as the ceremony, reception and after party are all at the same venue.

Are you having an after party?

Answer

Hell yes! It will take place in the ballroom at 12AM, with a DJ, cotton candy and late night bites. Don't worry, the alcohol will be free-flowing through 2AM!

Is there anything the next day?

Answer

You betcha! We are hosting a brunch the morning after the wedding to get you all fed and liquored up before you head off on your way. This will be held around the pool area at the Hollywood Roosevelt at 10AM.

What kind of ceremony are you having?

Answer

We are getting married by the Rabbi from our Temple (Temple Judea), Rabbi Joshua Aaronson. That means we are having a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony. Custom yarmulkes will be provided if you do not have one.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

Yes, it is! All guests are encouraged to bring their children no matter the age
