What’s the attire?

Answer

Formal/cocktail attire. We want our guests to be comfortable so keep in mind the average temperature during this time in September can range from highs of anywhere in the 80’s/90’s and lows anywhere in the 70’s. Cowboy boots are encouraged... you will be in Texas after all! LADIES: Consider wearing block heels. The grounds are all grass so wear shoes you’ll be comfortable walking in. The reception will be inside the barn on hardwood floors.

Will there be shuttles to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

A 60 person shuttle will be picking guests up in front of the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront hotel at 5 PM and then again at the end of the night back to the hotel. If you don’t want to drive and you’re not staying at this hotel, we suggest ubering/walking to the hotel to catch the shuttle there. It will be first come first serve. If you don’t plan on drinking, please drive to the venue (25 minute drive) so those that are going to drink can ride safely on the shuttles.

Can cars be left at the wedding venue over night?

Answer

No, the venue doesn't allow overnight parking.

Do we have to book at the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront Hotel?

Answer

No, but if you do book through the link provided in the travel tab of our website you’ll get to use our discount for your rooms. The Cabins on BearPen Creek are the next street over from the venue and there are plenty of other hotels and Airbnb’s in Rockwall, TX. If you do book somewhere in Dallas, keep in mind you’ll have around a 45 minute drive to the venue. Shuttles will only be dropping off at The Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront Hotel, which is also walking distance from the Springhill Suites Dallas Rockwall, after the wedding.
