We’re getting married!

As a boy from a small town in Pennsylvania and a girl from a beautiful city in California, never in a million years did Josh and Daniella think they'd find their forever in Texas! Josh came to Texas in 2014 looking to start a new chapter in his life. He eventually found a good job, sunny skies, and his “tribe”. Daniella came along in 2017 looking to focus on her career... boy, did she not know what was coming! Within the first few months of working at the airport in Midland, TX, Daniella’s coworker Natalie knew she knew the perfect match for her. Natalie happened to have gone to school with Josh back in Pennsylvania (talk about a small world!), and after Josh had helped her move apartments in Texas, Natalie knew just the way to repay him. From the moment Natalie helped Daniella and Josh exchange numbers, there was rarely a second they weren’t talking. Josh charmed Daniella with his big sense of adventure in their small town of Midland. They spent the beginning of their relationship playing tennis, taking trips to different parts of Texas like Big Bend National Park, Austin, San Antonio, etc., traveling coast to coast to visit family, and really just completely enjoying being in each other’s company. Daniella won Josh over with her drive, commitment, love for her family, and explosive laugh. Soon they both realized where this was going... they bought their first home together in 2018 (taking things slow wasn’t really in the cards lol) and began to build their lives even further! Two dogs and many memories later, Josh finally knew it was time to get down on one knee and start the real adventure! Although marriage was all that seemed to be the topic of discussion lately, Daniella was completely taken by surprise when Josh promised her forever in an Escape Room in Dallas. Josh and Daniella were on their way to Dallas to spend the weekend with some friends. As much as Daniella loves watching South Park episodes in the car with Josh, she eventually dosed off. They arrive in Dallas and unpack their things at the hotel. Josh casually lets Daniella know that while she was sleeping in the car he made reservations for them to do an “escape room” later on that night after they had dinner with their friends. Daniella thought it was strange that they would just leave their friends after dinner to go off by themselves so she asked if they could come. Both had reasons why they couldn’t go. Perfectly normal! They go to dinner, have a couple drinks, and Daniella and Josh make their way to the escape room. When they arrived, no one else was there besides the owners. The family of 8 others in their group had canceled. Still, seems normal. Daniella went to go wash her hands and when she came out of the restroom, Josh wasn’t there. The owner said he had to go sign their waivers. Okay (sneaky)! Josh and Daniella’s escape room mission was to find the code to deactivate a set of bombs that a criminal had placed throughout London. After about an hour, they had completed their mission! They had the code to the safe that would allow them to deactivate the bombs! Daniella punches in the code to the safe and opens it. To her surprise, inside the safe was a hand made little house that Josh had painted to look just like the place he knew Daniella had always wanted to get married at. (For their anniversary, Daniella had gifted Josh wooden “love tokens”) Inside the window of the house, Josh had placed one of the tokens with the engraving “Good for you and me forever”. When Daniella pressed the window, the music box that Josh built into the house starts playing The Sound of Music song “My Favorite Things” and the door opens with what Daniella has been wishing for... Josh gets down on one knee and you can guess what happens next!! Let the wedding planning begin!
