When should we arrive for the wedding weekend?

We recommend arriving by Friday afternoon so you can join us for the welcome party and settle in before the wedding day.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Frankfort, and this is also where our shuttle service will be operating for both the welcome event on Friday evening, and our wedding on Saturday. We recommend guests stay there or somewhere nearby if they'd like to use the transportation services throughout the weekend.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Lexington (LEX), but flight options can be limited. We recommend flying into Louisville (SDF), which typically offers more direct flights and is about a one hour from Frankfort. From there, guests can rent a car or take an Uber or other rideshare service to the hotel.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes. Shuttles will run from the Fairfield Marriott Inn & Suites for the welcome party on Friday evening, and for our wedding on Saturday. Return transportation is also available at the end of the evening for both events. If you are unable to partake in our shuttle services, Uber and other rideshare services are available in the Frankfort/Versailles area. We recommend planning ahead for this by either scheduling an Uber pick-up, or monitoring immediate availability, as wait times can be unpredictable.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. Suits and ties, long dresses, or cocktail/formal wear are all welcome. The ceremony will be outdoors, and there is a short (3ish minute) walk to the afterparty for those who plan to continue the celebration with us after the reception has ended. We recommend appropriate footwear and bringing a layer for the evening, as fall evenings in Kentucky can be chilly.

Yes. The ceremony will be held outside, weather permitting.

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a guest name or the word “guest,” they’re included in your invitation. Otherwise, we’re keeping the celebration intimate and appreciate your understanding.

Please RSVP by August 31st, 2026 to confirm your attendance for all wedding weekend events (welcome party, wedding, and afterparty) - we look forward to celebrating with you!
