The hotel blocks are all located in the Iowa River Landing. We love 30Hop (lots of beers on tap if that's your thing), Marquee for their stracciatella, and Tribute for their cocktails. There are restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping all within walking distance to the hotels.
Probably (definitely) our most frequented spot in Iowa City. We love their soft pretzels. Favorite beers include Boomtown, Neighborhood, Citrus Surfer, Easy Eddy, and Summer Jam. But you really cannot go wrong.
Great brunch spot. Get the cinnamon roll... you won't regret it. They don't take reservations and there is almost always a wait so grab a coffee at Java House just up the street and explore downtown Iowa City while you wait.
Micky's is our go to spot when nothing sounds good, never disappoints.
One of our favorite date night spots. Favorites include the buffalo chicken burrito (trust us!) and the Shrimp Voodoo!
An Iowa City staple and a great breakfast and lunch option. There is usually a wait but it is located nearby downtown Iowa City to walk around and explore a bit while you wait!
