Meaghan's sister and dear friend. Despite being 5 years apart and completely different on paper, Meaghan and Leah have always been incredibly close. Leah is resourceful, optimistic, and becomes friends with everyone she meets. She is also currently in grad school to become a clinical psychologist. Leah is a wedding enthusiast who has known the nuance of cake decor and wedding dress styles since she and Meaghan binge watched TLC together as kids. During the wedding weekend it is highly likely the sisters will break out in song about a 15+ year-old inside joke.
Lauren Shelepak

Meaghan's random freshman year roommate who instantly became her best friend. Since they were 18, Meaghan and Lauren have shared music playlists, books, outfits, and joy over each other's important life moments. Lauren goes above and beyond in everything she does, both in her career as a lawyer, and as a friend. She actually took the pictures of Meaghan and JR's lake-front engagement. Despite living more than 2000 miles apart, she and Meaghan remain as close as ever, talking on the phone for hours dissecting the latest pop albums and sharing updates about their lives.

A fellow California resident and bird watcher. Annie is a soon to be lawyer at USC. Annie and Meaghan met their freshman year of college and quickly became close when they realized they had the same sense of humor and ability to identify any dog breed on the street. Annie is also a very talented artist who designed Meaghan and JR's wedding invitations and signage. She and Meaghan now share the West Coast where the regularly visit each other, hike, watch baseball games with their significant others, share tips on bird photography, and have adventures that lead to comedic bits.
Katharine Latta

Katharine (Kami) is JR's sister, first best friend, and Meaghan's soon to be sister-in-law. She currently lives in Chicago where she works as a therapist. She has been a supporter of JR and Meaghan's relationship from the early days when they all lived in Chicago together. Kami was instrumental in helping JR propose to Meaghan, planning a picnic for them to enjoy while watching the sunset after the question was popped. Kami brings compassion, warmth and deep awareness into everything she does and is no doubt going to be the most fashionable person at the wedding.
Taylor Holcomb

Taylor and Meaghan met in Chicago and clicked immediately sharing interests in product engineering, live music, spontaneous outdoor activities and a deep and unwavering love for the city of Chicago. Taylor was there for Meaghan and JR in their early days and remains a close friend to them both today. Despite no longer sharing Chicago, Taylor and Meaghan find ways to visit each other every year. Taylor brings exuberance, adventure, high executive function to all aspects of life and connects with everyone she meets.

Another one of Meaghan's closest friends from Cornell. Cat is an interior expert, a landscape architect and the mother of an adorable baby girl. Meaghan and Cat share a love for the natural world, New England, long in-depth phone conversations and off the cuff humor. Meaghan and Cat shared a house in Ithaca together one summer and were nervous around each other due to intense pressure from their mutual friends that they'd be best friends by the end of the summer. That all changed one night, and they've never looked back.
Eliza Weaver

Meaghan and Eliza met at Cornell 10 years ago at a running club. They reconnected when Meaghan moved to the Bay Area, Eliza's home since graduation, where they quickly picked up their deep friendship. Eliza was instrumental in helping Meaghan, then later JR adjust to the Bay, introducing them to the majority of their SF friends and the Tahoe ski mountains. Eliza brings enthusiasm, spontaneity and superior organizational skills into everything she does. She'll no doubt be winning the Last Day as a Sugrue Run and tearing up the dance floor at Meaghan and JR's wedding.
Alexa Rohan

Meaghan's oldest friend of the group. Alexa and Meaghan were in the same third grade class and swim team and have stayed friends ever since. Despite living across the country, through college and early adulthood, Alexa and Meaghan always made time to check in and spend time together. They reconnected in a big way when Meaghan moved to the Bay Area, where they picked up a lifelong and foundational friendship, this time with shared ski trips to Tahoe.
Michael Zazzara
Best Man
JR's close friend from college. "Zazz" and JR bonded over the summer they lived together in a tiny, wildly overpriced studio apartment in NYC. Key memories include sitting on the fire escape facing the Queensboro Bridge, many nights out spending all their first-ever disposable income, and watching the entire Archer series. Zazz is now a big-shot investment banker living in NYC, finally graduating from his Murray Hill apartment. He and JR are always working on random business ideas, go on an annual ski trip to Park City, and all the time spent together has helped Meaghan and Zazz become close friends themselves.
Jimmy Romagnoli

JR's best friend at Cornell, they were close ever since early freshman year. Jimmy and JR have spent countless hours together, being roommates for 3 years. Too many memories to recap here: football Sundays at Cook St, highest beer pong team winning percentage, Park City ski trips, swimming in Ithaca's gorges, even working out together trying to get "yolked". Jimmy is now a man of international finance, enjoying the sun down in Miami while spending lots of time with his family. Jimmy is hard-working and smart yet likes to have fun while enjoying the finer things in life.
William Ruwitch

JR's oldest friend. The origin story is William helped JR open his milk cartoon when they were 4 years old, completely unfolding it and then JR spilled it all over himself. They've grown up together, going to the same schools until college and forming a close bond playing video games, watching sports, hanging out every weekend, and going on countless vacations together. William now lives in NYC with his awesome wife, Claire, where they're enjoying the fast-paced yuppie city life, seemingly doing something new every week. William's one of those guys who can become friends with anyone, always authentically wanting to learn more about their life and help support them.
Kit Schmid

Kit and JR have been very close ever since the Burroughs (high school) days. Kit's Chevy S10 truck was parked outside the Latta household at least 4 days per week from 10th grade through graduation. So many hours spent just hanging out, the two were inseparable. A couple years after college, they lived together in St. Louis, becoming best friends with neighbor Albert Pujols during his 700 HR chase (said hello to him in the elevator 1 time). Kit's following his father's footsteps in the finance world, buying low and selling high (except when they create NBA same game parlays together).
Max Tave

Max ("Tave") was JR's big in his fraternity at Cornell. Tave is almost the polar opposite of JR in some ways, a Cornell "Hotelie" who's the friendliest person and able to connect deeply with anyone he meets, regardless of their background or interests. But in other ways they're very similar, they both are absolutely incredible at sports betting (except for the times they lose), enjoy pursuing random business ideas, crypto, traveling to cool places, and eating good Asian food. Tave's quite the poker player, a couple years ago when he made the final table at a big tournament, he flew JR out to Vegas to be on his "rail" on TV. Tave and his beautiful wife, Tiare, live in Hawaii where they're from, even though it seems like they're somewhere new every week.
Alec Hanselman

Alec is one of JR's very close friends from childhood. Meeting in 7th grade at Burroughs, they quickly became good friends. Al had a way of always being there during JR's favorite memories, helping JR to learn how to not take himself too seriously. His love of traveling has led to a successful career in the space -- demonstrated by him earning the nickname from JR's dad of "Amsterdam Al", stemming from the time he talked 45 minutes straight about his trip during a Lake of the Ozarks dinner while everyone nodded along. Al lives in Austin when he's in between his world travels.
Michael Dell'Amico

Michael ("Deli") was one of JR's closest friends at Cornell. If you asked JR about his 10 favorite memories from college, all 10 of them would involve Deli somehow. Deli's always the life of the party, his cool California demeanor and outgoing energy are infectious to those around him. A true So-Cal guy, Deli lives in Los Angeles (and probably could not live anywhere else), which has been great now that JR lives up the road in San Francisco. Deli's an avid Dodgers fan, something the Cardinals fan JR has finally gotten over now that Shohei Ohtani is just too fun to watch.
Alex Krakoski

Alex ("Krak") was one of JR's good friends at Cornell and roommates for several years in Chicago. They had an amazing time exploring the city as young adults - eating lots of Lou Malnati's (sausage, onion pepper), watching football every Sunday, and frequenting the local pub Hopsmith. Krak has an extraordinary background - a true self-made man who has found ways to create opportunities for himself. He started a beef jerky business while on scholarship at a boarding school in Switzerland. He continued this through Cornell and I can attest that "Worthy Jerky" was quite delicious. Krak now lives in Chicago with his incredibly sweet future wife, Lisa.
