What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that all guests plan to arrive and be seated roughly five minutes prior to the start time.

Where can I get the shuttle and what is the schedule?

Answer

The shuttle will run on a continuous loop from Outbound Stowe and Stoweflake Mountain Resort and Spa to von Trapp both before and after the wedding. We will update this page with the shuttle schedule as soon as it is finalized.

Is Uber available in Stowe?

Answer

Uber is available in Stowe, but there aren’t many drivers in the area. If you plan to take an Uber to the wedding, please allow at least 20 extra minutes for a car to arrive — and consider scheduling one in advance if you know you’ll need it.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony — no phones, photos, or videos, please! We’d love for everyone to be fully present and share in the moment with us. Our photographer will be capturing everything, so you can relax and enjoy — and feel free to take all the photos you’d like once the ceremony concludes!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed to celebrate! The dress code is evening cocktail attire. Since parts of the celebration will take place on grass, we recommend lawn-friendly footwear.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the individuals listed on your invitation attend, as our venue has limited capacity. Thank you for your understanding.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Though we love your children, our celebration will be adults-only. Guests with children are encouraged to make childcare arrangements for the evening to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all.
