FAQs

Here are some questions you may think of while planning to travel for our wedding. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Ethan or Meaghan with any other questions!
Question

How Should I Dress

Answer

We ask that you dress nice and appropriately for our wedding and reception. What does appropriate mean? Remember that the ceremony is in a church, so please wear your best Sunday clothes. This does not mean a three-piece suit, but we do ask that you dress nicely. For the reception, we ask that you stay dressed nicely. If a change of shoes is in order, feel free, but we do not want people walking around in tank tops and shorts. Both events are in air-conditioned spaces, so we promise it will not get too bad. Outside may be hot and humid, but inside you will stay plenty cool.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need a final count for food and other things at least 2 weeks before the wedding, please keep this in mind and respond in a timely manner! You can RSVP right here on our website. Just type in your name and you (and your family) will show up. Then proceed to RSVP for both the ceremony and reception. For the reception select your food, and please tell us about any dietary restrictions!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We welcome kiddos! We just ask they please be on their best behavior. We know that can be a hard ask, but we promise there is no judgement, lots of people in attendance are teachers after all!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring the person/people who are included on your invite. If you do not have a plus one, please do not bring someone. If you have children that you would like to add so they can have food, please contact either Ethan or Meaghan!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is at 2 p.m. on May 31st. Keep in mind how much time you will need to travel to be there on time. There will be a cocktail hour at 3 and the reception will start at 4. This allows guests time to return to their hotel or where they are staying to change or do anything else they would like.

Question

where are we registered?

Answer

We have a registry set up here on our Zola website! We have linked both Zola and Amazon items. You can also look us up on Amazon by searching either "Ethan Coffee" or "Meaghan Scannell"

Question

is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, the church has a parking lot! Right when you pull in the driveway there are parking spots visible.

Question

can i smoke and drink?

Answer

Both the church and hotel for the reception are smoke-free. We are charged a fee if you smoke, so we ask that you please respect this request. There will be drinks at the reception. However, you are not allowed to bring in your own alcohol for consumption. This will go against the hotel's liquor license.
