The Coffees

Ethan and Meaghan met in economics class in their fall semester at MLC in 2022. After Thanksgiving break, the two texted over Snapchat but soon began to talk in person. With the winter one-acts coming up in Forum, the two saw a lot more of each other. Meaghan was a character in the play, and Ethan worked on the audiovisual team. One night on Ethan's shift at the campus library, the two stayed up talking till midnight. The next night, on December 2, 2022, they made their relationship official.

In June 2024, Meaghan visited Ethan at his childhood home in Los Angeles, CA. She was staying for a whole week. On the second day of the trip, Ethan had planned for the two to visit the Griffith Observatory. The day started off great! The parking meters weren't working, so they got a rare free parking opportunity at the observatory. Ethan led the two around the observatory and the lookout areas. While looking at the skyline view of LA, Ethan told Meaghan to turn around so he could take her picture. She turned back around to see Ethan on one knee and asked her to marry him. The answer was an ecstatic yes! On June 13, the journey to Mr. and Mrs. Coffee began.

Meaghan will graduate from Martin Luther College in May of 2025. She will receive a divine call to serve at a school at her graduation. Ethan and Meaghan plan for her to work at his school, Divine Savior Academy, in Delray Beach, Florida. After graduation, she will begin moving to Florida, where she and Ethan will live. They will begin their marriage in Florida and are beyond excited! Please pray for them as they plan, move, and begin their marriage! Ethan and Meaghan want to thank their God, families, and friends!
