Can we bring our children?

Answer

Our Saturday events (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) are adults-only. If you are bringing your children to The Homestead for the weekend, please let us know. While our wedding festivities on Saturday are adults-only, we'd enjoy seeing them on Friday evening at the Watch Party and/or Sunday morning for a biscuit.

What is the recommended attire?

VT vs Cal Watch Party: Resort Casual or your favorite VT Hokie attire Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Formal/Black Tie optional Biscuits and Good-Byes: Resort Casual

What do you mean by Formal/Black Tie Optional?

Answer

For men, this includes dark suits/tie - but tuxedos are highly encouraged. For ladies, floor or tea length gowns/dresses.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles from the main entrance of the Omni Homestead to the Old Course Pavilion (where the ceremony will be held). We will not be providing transportation to/from any outside accommodations.
