This was a no brainer! My big sis, my ride or die. I couldn't imagine anyone else to stand by my side and hold my bouquet! She is my best friend and I am forever grateful she is in my life. She is always there to give me advice and steer me in the right direction, which is why I know she will continue to do so all throughout everything wedding! She may send 7 separate texts to complete one thought that she forgot she already told me about, but she is also the best person to talk to when you need to hear the hard truth. She is loud, she is smart, she is my role model and I am so lucky to have her as my Matron of Honor!

Jackie

Jackie is my longest friend that I've had since moving to New York. We met in Cortland and started the never-ending, ever-changing career of education together. I would not have been able to survive student teaching without her! As the years went on, we found our own lives and established ourselves as adults until we found each other again and my life has and will never be the same. Jackie is someone I can call at 2am, ask her any favor and she will be there with the shovel ready to go before I even hang up the phone. She is there to talk about absolutely nothing and absolutely everything all at the same time. She is the 3rd to our throuple and I am so lucky to have her in my corner and standing up next to me as one of my bridesmaids!

Tanya

I have known Tanya for 21 years of my life. The day the world had our families move us across the street from each other and put us in the same 5th grade class, was the best day. We grew our friendship over our love of Disney, playing mermaids, the Jonas Brothers, High School Musical, and our punk era. We make the same sounds and make the same silly jokes. She is my best friend for life and I can't wait to have her stand by my side as a bridesmaid

Rachel

As Jackie's sister, I've known Rachel just as long, but Rachel and I really became friends a couple years ago as we bonded over making fun of Jackie. Now she is also my little sister. Rachel and I are super similar in our emotions and how we deal with things and we really bonded on the way we approach situations and value relationships. I have seen so much growth in her and she is one of the kindest people I know and she has the largest heart that it gets her trouble sometimes and that is why I love her. I am grateful for our friendship and for her to stand next to me on my wedding day as one of my bridesmaids!

Dalton

I have known Dalton practically my whole life. He may have started off as Nicole's friend and as a 13 year old I had zero time for this bubbly personality that is Dalton. However, when Nicole moved in with Dalton to the city, it became one of my favorite places to be and that had a lot to do with Dalton being there. He always knows how to have a good time, how to crank up a slow evening with a YouTube game and a contemporary dance moves (sometimes using props). As I have usually been the little sister friend, over the last few years, Dalton and I have gotten really close and have established our own friendship consisting of our love of Harry Potter, Dunkin, and making fun of Nicole. I couldn't imagine a big night that involves dancing and props to NOT involve Dalton. I am so happy for him to be my bridesman

I have known Monica since before I can even remember she is practically my other older sister right down to the steering me in the right direction when I was doing something stupid. She is the reason for my love of anything punk music and All Time Low. She knows exactly what to say when I am feeling down and is always there when I need to vent about how wild the education system is. I am forever thankful to have another strong role model in my life and couldn't possibly do this day without her by my side.

Chrissy

I have also known Chrissy for most of my life and she has been one of the brightest parts of it. My sunflower. Chrissy is the best person to go to when you need some sunshine in your day. She is like a sister to me and I am so grateful for her kindness, compassion, and silliness every time I talk to her. She is great at calming you down and being there for you 100% so I know she will be the best bridesmaid when stuff inevitably hits the fan! I am so thankful she will be standing up there with me!

I met Julia 4 years ago in a place where we both needed a friend and when I needed someone to lean on - as a stranger- she opened her arms. We quickly became “work wives” and I couldn’t be more appreciative of her companionship. Julia is one of the kindest, pure-hearted people I know. She knows exactly how to build you up when you are down and is one of my biggest cheerleaders. I am so happy to call her a friend and grateful she’s a bridesmaid!

They say you find some of your best friendships in college. Gab and I met at Cortland and quickly became good friends. So, when it was time to get out of our first dorms, we promised to be roommates next semester, which turned into housemates and overall best friends. Gab is one of my longest NY friends and I am so blessed to still have her in my life even though we live so far apart. From twofers, to Harry Potter references, to marriages, to babies; I know Gabba will be in my life forever and I’m so grateful for that. I can’t wait to have her by my side as a bridesmaid!
