As many of you know, following the difficult decision to postpone our wedding twice, we decided we just couldn’t wait any longer. We got married on December 20th in a small, intimate ceremony with our immediate family. While we were truly heartbroken to not be able to celebrate this special day with all of you, we saw that many of you tuned in to our live video stream to watch the ceremony, and we are thankful. You all have been unbelievably supportive to the both of us throughout this ever-changing process. When we got married in December, we planned to have a reception with all of you in June to celebrate. We are saddened to have to send this letter letting all of you know that due to the continued strain of the COVID-19 pandemic on our lives and families, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our June 27th reception. Though a year ago this is not how we envisioned starting our lives together, we have been humbled by the love that you all have surrounded us with. Our hearts are heavy with this decision, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. We both love and appreciate you and we hope to see each of you soon to share with you the joys newlywed life has brought. Thank you for everything. With Love, Luke & Emily Meacham
As you all know, we took a leap and decided to have a very small ceremony with just family and the wedding party on December 20th. Our love just couldn't wait any longer. We are so thankful for all of your love and support through this crazy process. We love you all! - The Meachams
We met when we were just 11 years old. We were friends through middle school and through high school. And we just kept coming back to each other. At first, we were friends. And then we fell in love. We went to prom. We graduated high school. We went through college. We got our first apartment. We got a sweet kitty. We got engaged. We celebrated about 6 anniversaries together. And now, we are getting married! We can’t imagine our story going any differently! #ItHadToBeYou
