Kas and Ali are more like sisters than friends. With a full day of classes together, cheerleading practice, homework together, and Ali often eating dinner at the Shealy household, Ali and Kas were inseparable in high school. They grew up together and supported each other in every major decision, celebration, and difficult situation life has put them through. Despite going to different universities and moving to different regions of the country, Kas and Ali have never let distance impact their friendship, and still talk in some form almost daily. Ali is so lucky to have Kas in her life, as she truly believes their friendship is a unique, lifelong relationship that few others get to experience in a lifetime. Kas lives in Berkeley, CA.
Wes Nurney

Wes and David met at the University of Dayton their sophomore year. Wes and David became roommates in college and bonded over sports, lawn games and travel. In college they were always good friends but this only grew post grad once they both moved west. Since college Wes and David have grown closer by their shared sales careers, frequently chatting about challenges and successes. Wes and David enjoy visiting each other in Arizona and Colorado where they hike, ski, visit breweries and have nights out on the town. Their friendship has also taken them on trips to London, Iceland, New York and San Diego. Wes lives in Scottsdale, AZ.

Courtney and Ali have a best friendship that has remained steadfast despite 4,683 miles of distance! Courtney and Ali met at a Ying Yang Twins concert their first year at UGA. Courtney and Ali had an instant connection and spent all of their free time together in college, studying, partying, exploring Athens, making holiday trips back to NC together, and even living and working together. Their closeness went to the extent of noticing when the other person had a new stain on their jeans! Since college, Courtney and Ali have shared many adventures together, including trips to Panama, Iceland, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, & many more. Ali feels so lucky to have Courtney as a best friend and knows that no distance can break their lifelong bond. Courtney lives in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
John Stover

John and David have been friends since their freshman year at the University of Dayton. Their friendship grew over many shared classes and being roommates. They attended many Dayton Flyers basketball games together and had a knack for procrastinating papers till the last minute but always completed them. Highlights of post college have been trips to see the Flyers play in Pittsburgh and Chicago as well as trips to Ohio and Colorado to see each other. Since college they have enjoyed seeing who can make the better sports bet (Vegas usually wins). John lives in Findlay, OH.
Destinee Hood

Destinee and Ali became best friends, or "soul sisters," during their four years together at UGA. Highlights from the college years include rooming together, epic football tailgates, late study nights, trips to PCB & Jacksonville, nights out in Athens, and many fun dance parties. Ali and Destinee stayed in good touch throughout their graduate studies and even spent a snowy Galentine's Day together at an Ice Bar in Boston. Destinee has a loving and fun personality and is always up for a karaoke night out or a casual conversation over wine. Destinee and Ali can always pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time passes. Ali had the honor of standing by Destinee’s side when she got married, and she is thrilled for Destinee to do the same. Destinee lives in Atlanta, GA.
Keith Nerderman

Keith and David have been friends since their freshman year at the University of Dayton. They became close with their shared sports interest and love of the game “beer dice”. Both being in sales Keith and David frequently have hour long conversations while driving between meetings and can always count on each other for a laugh. They have spent great weekends visiting each other post college including during the 2016 Final Four in Texas as well as weekends in Denver and Vail exploring the mountains and skiing. Keith lives in Houston, TX.
Susan Darnell

Susan and Ali met at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in middle school through the youth group program. Susan and Ali quickly became friends and spent a lot of time together despite attending different high schools. Susan became an honorary member of the Page high school crew and spent a lot of time with the tight-knit group throughout high school and college. Susan and Ali have shared many adventures together, including a trip to Northern Ireland, a trip to Iceland, and countless hikes and backpacking trips in the Appalachians and Rockies! Susan has a calm, laid-back demeanor that puts Ali at ease, and she is always up for tackling a hike, exploring a new place or grabbing a beer. Ali feels so lucky to have a lifelong friend in Susan. Susan lives in Asheville, NC.
Sean Cunningham

Sean and David have known each other since sophomore year at the University of Dayton. Sean was a random roommate assignment to fill out their suite and earns the designation of best random college roommate assignment. While being roommates Sean loved to scare his suite mates. While it drew Davids anger at the time he only looks back on it fondly today and how much Sean laughed after successfully scaring one of us. Sean and David have both lived in Denver for the last 5+ years and enjoy Rockies and Nuggets games as well as exploring the mountains of Colorado and going to Dayton Alumni events together.
Jessica Pinnell

Jessica and Ali are childhood best friends who met before either of them were able to walk. They had an amazing childhood together making up silly games, biking through the neighborhood, sprinkler days in the backyard, putting on musical performances for their parents, sledding, countless sleepovers, and epic family beach trips to the NC coast every summer. Jessica & Ali have the type of childhood bond where they are more like family then friends and know each other to the core. Jessica is an extremely kind person with a creative eye and a contagious laugh, and Ali feels lucky to have such an amazing lifelong friend in Jessica. Ali had the honor of standing by Jessica’s side when she got married, and she is so excited for Jessica to be able to do the same. Jessica lives in Greensboro, NC.
Brian Fry

Brian and David have known each other since 6th grade. Their friendship grew in high school while taking business classes. They have stayed close throughout college and post-grad when they both moved back to Kansas City. Over the years they have enjoyed sharing business insights with each other and have a shared love of the Chiefs, Royals and Kansas Jayhawks. Brian has seen David at many stages in life, from the awkward middle school years, to challenging college and the ups and downs of post-grad careers and life. Brian has always been great to lend advice and be there as a friend. Brian is a graduate of the University of Kansas and lives in Austin, TX.

Emily and Ali met at UGA and became even closer as neighbors when they both lived in Atlanta. Highlights of the early days include foam parties at the Level, road tripping to the Kentucky Derby, wine nights & brunches with friends in Atlanta, and an epic girls trip to Denver that changed their lives! Emily and Ali embarked on one of their biggest life adventures together when they moved from Atlanta to Denver. Emily and Ali were roommates their first two years in Denver and had many amazing life changes and adventures together - new jobs, new friends, exploring Colorado, trekking to Havasu Falls, hiking Conundrum Hot springs, and countless late nights, dinner clubs & red rocks concerts. Ali feels so lucky to have such a fun, witty, & adventurous friend in Emily! Emily lives in Denver, CO.

Brandon and David met while working at Ping Identity in 2017. They became quick friends while enjoying downtown Denver culinary scene and sports. Brandon introduced David to a number of great dining spots in Denver including D'Corazon and Low Country Kitchen. Luckily for their wallets and health both of them are now getting married and dine out significantly less. Brandon is a Cincinnati Bearcats super fan and has converted David while attending events in LA (Photo with Kenyon Martin) Phoenix and Cincinnati. Brandon lives in Denver, CO and is a graduate of the University of Colorado.

Lynn and Ali first met during a family trip to Frisco, CO. Fun memories from their first meeting include an “easy” bike ride around Lake Dillon that proved to be quite challenging, shared laughs throughout this challenge, and a funny game of Wits and Wagers where Lynn guesstimated that the average American eats over 100 pounds of candy a year. On a more serious note, Lynn and Ali have become closer over the last year and share a love of sweet treats, games, and Lynn’s adorable labradoodle, Bentley. Ali is so excited to have Lynn as a sister and Ali and David feel so honored to have Lynn by their sides on such an important day! Lynn lives in Kansas City.

David and Jason met at Suttons 1st birthday party, where Jason tasked David with sneakily collecting rocks from the neighbors lot to weigh down the tent. Luckily, David did not get caught. Jason also did a good job of welcoming David to the family and gave him the first Howard family game night experience, where many laughs ensued. David is really excited to have Jason as a brother-in-law! Jason is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and lives in Columbus, OH.
Allison Howard

Allison is Ali's sister-in-law and good friend. Allison and Ali instantly got along after meeting when Jason and Allison visited Ali for a weekend in Atlanta. Allison and Ali have always had a playful relationship full of jokes, poking fun of each other, and the occasional wrestling match that lead to a permanent rug burn (sorry Allison)! :-) But in all seriousness, Ali is extremely grateful that her brother has the most kind, loving and supportive wife who has been with the Howards through the lowest lows and highest highs. As the Howard family grows, there are so many more card games, beach trips, hockey games & loud laughs to be had. Ali feels so lucky to have Allison as a sister and is honored that she will be by her side on her wedding day. Allison lives in Columbus, OH.
Luke Howard

Luke is Ali’s nephew in heaven who has the important honorary role of junior groomsman and guardian angel. Luke was a loving, kind, smart and funny person who enjoyed long days at the beach, jumping off of Jason’s shoulders in the pool, swinging at the park, and telling silly jokes to make the family laugh. Some of Ali’s favorite memories with Luke include watching Luke and Jason play soccer and swings at the park together, spitting watermelon seeds off of Jason’s balcony, riding rides at the Greek festival together, and falling asleep on the couch together at the beach. Any time the Howards see an orange sky, Luke’s favorite color, they know he is watching down over them from above. <3

Sutton is Ali's niece and David's soon-to-be niece! Sutton is a ray of sunshine and a fun personality to be around. She loves reading books, dancing to music, playing with baby dolls, being around family, spending time on the beach, and going out to eat where she can see all of the action! Sutton is a super smart, loving, and energetic child that is so fun and easy to be around. Ali and David feel so lucky to have Sutton as a niece and can't wait for her to walk down the aisle as their flower girl!
