We know this is cliché, but it’s a must see and one of the best museums either of us have been to. Nuevo the Mexican restaurant next door is excellent if you want a bite to eat afterwards!
A Christmas Story House
A Christmas Story House is an attraction and museum in Cleveland, Ohio's Tremont neighborhood. The 19th-century Victorian, which was used in the exterior and some interior scenes of Ralphie Parker's house in the 1983 film A Christmas Story, was purchased by a private developer in 2004 and has been restored and renovated to appear as it did both inside and outside in the film. The museum is part of a complex of four buildings devoted to the film, and is open to the public year-round.
Great Lakes Brewing Company
Our favorite place for a bite and some brews. This area of Cleveland is called Ohio City. We've been on the tour several times & you are able to sample the staple Cleveland Beers that are offered at every restaurant/bar in the CLE area. This is a must! West Side Market
A Cleveland landmark & must-see! An indoor/outdoor market in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood. Come here to walk around the historic building and its 100+ vendors, or to grab a bite to eat. We tend to frequent here for local grub & to grab some groceries then head to Great Lakes Brewery across the street!
Playhouse Square
Playhouse Square is a theater district in downtown Cleveland. It is the largest performing arts center in the United States outside of New York City. Go take a look at the giant chandelier that cascades over the roads in the square! They also have Free tours on Saturdays of all of the theaters which join from the inside.
East 4th Street
East 4th offers world-class dining and entertainment in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. Much like a great art museum, East 4th is a carefully curated dining and entertainment experience. Each of the great chefs and entertainment leaders that make up the street were hand-selected to be a part of our great urban experiment. The result has been an experience unlike any other.
Crocker Park
Crocker Park is a brilliant mix of retail stores, restaurants, office buildings, luxury apartments & relaxing green spaces. This is where we usually are on the weekends whether it’s a dinner, shopping, a movie, or a workout class Crocker Park is where everything is! All the stores are Dog Friendly aka Bear Cub’s favorite place for treats.
The Flats
The Flats is a redeveloped area on the banks of the Cuyahoga River, known for its happening nightlife, water sports like kayaking & paddleboarding, with edgy bars and clubs hosting live music. The party vibe extends to patios and beer gardens nearby, while dining options include gourmet restaurants, breweries, and hip cafes. A popular walkway lines the west bank of the waterfront, and water taxis take people from one side of the river to the other. The West Bank of The Flats is where our Cocktail & Wedding Reception is held!
