Kelly and Jack first met during their time in medical school. Being a medical student was stressful to say the least, and between the late nights in the library and long hours in the hospital it was often difficult to get out and enjoy life. When Kelly decided to start a neighborhood running club to help her classmates burn off some steam, she was delighted (albeit, surprised) that Jack was her most frequent attendee. If you know Kelly, you'd know she's a lifelong athlete and avid runner. If you know Jack, you'd know he's neither of the above. But that never stopped Jack from running with Kelly through the charming streets of Richmond, Virginia. What started as a spark of love grew into a budding relationship, and before long, on one muggy afternoon after a long run, Jack asked Kelly on their first date. It's been happily ever after ever since. It soon became clear to Kelly and Jack that their love was something special. From exploring the crowded streets of Hanoi to spending a cozy night in with their cats Chimbo & Frank, everything just felt better together. Before long, it became difficult to imagine a life apart. Jack had often joked that couple's matching for residency was just about the same as asking Kelly to marry him, but he proposed to her on a chilly evening in downtown Philadelphia, just to be safe. Kelly and Jack are ecstatic to begin this next chapter of their love, and immensely grateful for the friends, family, and loved ones that have supported them every step of the way.
