Morris Island Lighthouse
Where we had our engagement photos! Drive to the end of Folly Beach and then take a nice stroll out to the point to see the Morris Island Lighthouse. It’s an awesome place to watch the sunset, look for dolphins, and check out the cool dead trees. Bring bug spray just to be safe.
Park Circle
Park Circle is one of our favorite areas to hangout in for drinks and eats. Grab a drink at Paddock & Whisky or Accents on Wine. Then grab dinner at Basil for great Thai food or EVO for great pizza. Then go play some arcade games at Pinky & Clyde’s Arcade Bar. There’s also an amazing playground for kiddos in that area too.
Avondale
Avondale is another one of our favorite areas. Close to the venue and Downtown. Great place for drinks, live music, and eats. Avondale Wine & Cheese is a great wine place. Gene’s Haufbrau is a Charleston staple for drinks and games.
Deep Water Vineyard
Deep Water Vineyard is a cool vineyard on Wadmalaw Island. It’s a little bit of a drive, but a fun spot to spend an afternoon. They make their own wine and mead.
Charleston City Market
Fun place to shop around Downtown. Typically open 9:30am-5:00pm. Sometimes there is a night market.
