What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long evening gown and for men this means a suit and tie. Please no jeans. November weather in Charleston can be tricky-- It could be 75 degrees or 50 degrees. Our wedding is outside so please plan to bring a jacket to stay warm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only affair unless your child is explicitly named on your invitation.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at the venue. Our wedding is held at Charles Towne Landing. There is parking available near the Legare Waring House where the ceremony and reception will both be held. There is also a large parking lot where cars can be left overnight if needed in the main part of the park. Golf carts will be nearby to help transport you to your car if you choose to move your car during the reception to the main parking lot. Uber is also available as well.

Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website. Physical gifts are not necessary at the wedding. If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address. After purchasing an item from our list please mark it as “purchased” to avoid duplicate gifts.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive at 4:45pm to have time to get settled. Our wedding will be 5:00pm-10:00pm.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers and videographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy.

Do you have a hotel block set up?

Answer

Due to the low need of hotel accommodations for our guests, we do not have a room block at a specific hotel. If you need hotel recommendations you can find all the details on the Travel page of our website.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We are going digital for our wedding RSVP system. A QR code to scan and RSVP will be shared in our wedding invitations.
