Back in the day, being a bridesmaid was a slightly dangerous role, they dressed like the bride to confuse evil spirits… and with this group, we all have that level of commitment. Bridesmaids are the people who have seen you at your best, your worst, and your “I’m fine” (when you were absolutely not fine). They’re the ones who answer your unhinged texts, tell you the truth when you need it, hype you up when you don’t, and go along with all your crazy adventures. They’ve been part of your story long before the wedding, and they’re the ones you want standing next to you when you step into your next chapter. And yes, this group are ALL 'Maid of Honor'. ....and just to keep any bad vibes fully confused, the “bridal party” isn’t just the girls at the altar—it’s a whole crew of ride-or-dies showing up ready to celebrate.

Dance Floor Jam: Ain't No Mountain High Enough My middle sister has been my built-in best friend since day one (when I showed up in my finest pink corduroy pants to meet her… strong first impression). She was my longtime roommate until she rudely got married and moved in with the love of her life, but thankfully she still keeps me in her schedule. She’s a DIY queen, the kind of person who always puts everyone else first, has the most contagious laugh, and is easily the most fun aunt to Heidi’s kids. She’s been my constant through every phase of life—and there’s no one else I’d rather have standing next to me for this one.

Favorite Drink: "I don't know what I did to you but I'll take a Pinot Grigio." Hidden Talent: Cyberstalking Dance Floor Jam: "Anything that lets me throw my hands up and scream sing along." Heidi's the baby of the family, and somehow also the tallest (I'm still processing that). She’s equal parts sassy and spicy, but will forever be my “little baby angel sister.” She was the first to get married and is now the proud mom of the two kids. If you have a problem, Heidi can fix it—no notes, no hesitation. She’s also my go-to for everything from life advice to conspiracy theories, and somehow always has a take. She has the fashion sense of a NYC icon, is the first to say yes to any adventure, and if you take her to karaoke (which, let’s be honest, is usually just her living room), she’ll absolutely crush a rap song and then follow it up with something from Hamilton like it’s no big deal. She keeps life fun, interesting, and always a little unpredictable—in the best way.

Favorite Drink: Margarita Hidden Talent: Problem solver Dance Floor Jam: Danza Kuduro Meet Angelic— a longtime honorary member of the family thanks to Heidi, who picked her out when they were 7 and never let her go. At this point, she didn’t join us… she was recruited into the McCult. She’s been there for just about everything—every high, every low, and all the in-between moments that make up a lifetime. She’s the most loyal person you’ll ever meet and, to be clear, absolutely knows where all the bodies are buried… which is exactly why we keep her close. She’s also our go-to problem solver—the one you call when something needs to be figured out now and you don’t have time to spiral. And if you’ve been to Laura or Heidi’s weddings, you already know… we’ve been known to be the emotional ones. She’s the perfect mix of Chelsea Handler energy with a June Cleaver heart: equal parts hilarious, a little unfiltered, and somehow still the one holding it all together.

And my new sister in law, which, honestly, feels like a major win for me. She’s a full-on boss lady with a heart of gold—the kind of person who is insanely smart, genuinely cares about people, and somehow manages to be kind, generous, and loving all at the same time. She’s the one who shows up, handles things, and makes it all look effortless. Whether it’s life, family, or anything in between, Leti is someone you want in your corner. She’s the perfect mix of strength, heart, and good vibes—and we’re so lucky to have her standing with us on this day.

She's my niece, and basically a carbon copy of her mom, Heidi but definitely her own unique and wonderful person. She's cooler than all of us! You can usually find her in the pool all summer, cruising around on her electric scooter, or fully up to date on every TikTok trend before the rest of us even know it exists. She loves to sing, dance, and create—and somehow does all of it really well. And if you ever need your nails done, she can absolutely outdo most professionals without even trying. She’s fiercely loyal to her friends, endlessly creative, and brings the best kind of energy wherever she goes. She’s the perfect mix of fun, talent, and just the right amount of spice.

Favorite Drink: Blue Powerade Hidden Talent: I can blur my vision automatically Dance Floor Jam: "Welcome to Paradise (Green Day) (but I also don’t know how to dance)" Hudson is our resident comedian, and possibly the fastest human alive. We haven’t clocked it, but it feels accurate. He’s college football obsessed, better at saving money than any of us, and will never turn down mac and cheese, grilled cheese, nacho cheese… honestly, any form of processed cheese. It’s a lifestyle. You can usually find him PC gaming, sprinting somewhere at full speed, or listening to Green Day or Red Hot Chili Peppers. Like a true old soul, he knows everything about WW2 and all airplanes ever made—which tracks, because he’s basically a boomer in a 12-year-old’s body. He’s got impeccable comedic timing, is fiercely competitive, and will absolutely beat you at Uno 1999 out of 2000 times. He keeps us all entertained, slightly humbled, and on our toes.

Did You Know...
Originally, groomsmen weren’t just friends—they were the groom’s backup. The best man was literally the best swordsman, chosen to protect the couple and make sure the wedding actually happened. His job was to guard the bride (or, in some cases, help “secure” her if the match wasn’t approved), while the rest of the groomsmen stood watch to prevent interruptions—whether from the bride’s family, rival suitors, or any last-minute drama. Fast forward to today… the weapons are gone, but the energy? Still very much there. In true Manny fashion, while the bridesmaids are steaming pajamas, setting up champagne, and making sure every detail is perfect… these guys are in a group chat asking, “what time is the wedding again?” and “wait, where am I supposed to be?” 😅 But let’s be clear—when it counts, these are the guys who show up, step up, and have your back no questions asked. No swords needed...just loyalty, good vibes, and probably one guy making sure everyone actually gets to the ceremony on time.
