FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the guest count restriction of our venue and our own preference for the big day, we have elected to only invite those over 18-years-old. We ask that you please respect our wishes of a child-free wedding, and get ready to party!

Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Please adhere to the number of seats reserved for your party on the details card included with your invitation. This will ensure our guest count does not exceed the limit set by our venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend you arrive early as we will have an ice cream cart at 3pm and ceremony will start at 4pm. Shuttles will start taking guests from the hotels to the venue at 2pm, so please be ready early to ensure a timely start to the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is black tie optional. Wear your best suit and dress! Ceremony will be held outdoors and reception will be indoors.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking on property as well as a parking attendant. There will be a complimentary shuttle to and from both hotels.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will have a limited amount of rooms blocked out at Courtyard Marriot Winter Haven as well as Best Western Plus Winter Haven. Book fast as blocked rooms will run out, however you may still be able to book at these hotels based on availability.

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, followed by a shaded cocktail hour. The reception will take place mostly inside, however there will be access to the outdoor area throughout. Weather during this time of year is fairly mild, but can vary from day-to-day.
