Tim and I first met when I began working at a fine dining Mediterranean restaurant, Allelo, in April 2023. Shortly after I started working there, Tim began being very flirty with me. However, I (McKenzie) made the first move. I got his number from work, and asked if he would like to join me for an espresso martini. We stayed out until 4AM as we could not stop talking that night and from that point on, we knew we had something special.

I had been anticipating our proposal for a long time, as Tim and I quickly knew that we wanted to get married shortly into dating. The event planner in me was eager in moving things along, and I had told Tim it may be hard to surprise me. However, he blew any expectations I had out of the water. Tim took me to "our spot" on the beach where we always walk for sunset. He had our best friends help him coordinate and capture the DREAM setup where he emotionally asked me to spend forever with him. Following the proposal, he setup a surprise dinner with our loved ones where he had us greeted with espresso martinis (taking it back to our first date!)
