Over 16 years later, they're both still close friends. Angela is a professional jetsetter, is multilingual, and has a passion for beauty and fashion.

After being introduced to one another by Steph during a wine and tarot night, Courtney and McKenzie became fast friends. Since then, they've gone on many triple dates together with their respective partners, read many a tarot card spread, and had countless glasses of wine together.

As content comrades, Katie and McKenzie have been friends since their tumultuous days at a previous job. Katie introduced McKenzie to her favorite podcast—Last Podcast on the Left—and get together to celebrate Hobbit Day each year. Katie is a true Renaissance woman with expertise in artisan cheeses and wines, The Lord of the Rings trivia, and hosting killer parties.

Jacob and McKenzie have known each other since middle school where they fostered a friendship that holds steadfast to this day. Never one to stay still, Jacob has lived in cities like Chicago, San Diego, and Las Vegas. Jacob has a passion for writing, comedy, and video games.

After meeting at work, Jourdan and McKenzie grew close, bonding over anime, cosplay, and roller skating. Jourdan is a professional badass, with skills in jiu jitsu, silks, pole, and wrestling. In July of 2021, Jourdan and her husband Dexter facilitated a meeting between McKenzie and Matt, and the rest is history.

After meeting through a mutual friend many years ago, Steph and McKenzie have become close thanks to tarot card nights, drinking margs at Uncle Julio's, and strolling through downtown Wheaton. Steph is an accomplished graphic designer who creates romance novel covers, and is a devoted fur mom. Steph also took all of the lovely photographs of McKenzie and Matt that are on the website and save the dates.

If you've ever seen the movie “Bad Boys,” you already know the relationship Dex and Matt have: always having fun and screwing around no matter what the scenario. Matt and Dex met back in 2008 and have been best friends since. Dex 100% takes credit for introducing Matt & McKenzie (and he's annoying enough to never let us forget it). Hence why he's the one who is going to officiate our wedding.

It's a proven fact that Chris has the strongest calves in the universe....seriously just take a peek. Matt met Chris back in 2018 in The Before Times when he started at a new Firestone location. Chris got Matt Legos for his birthday only a few days after knowing him, which set up the building blocks to a great friendship.

Some say Randy is part machine because of how fast he can fix cars.....just dont ask him to fix your car at the reception. Matt and Randy first met back in 2015 at Firestone and formed a lasting friendship. Randy is pretty much the funniest person in any room, always has a story or comment about whatever is going on no matter the situation.

Hailing from the islands of Samoa, JP first met Matt in 2015 when Matt started at Firestone. Ever since then, JP and Matt have become Call of Duty partners, drinking buddies, and full blood usos. JP possesses the gift to drink his own body weight in booze and believes that wizards are real.

Matt and Brian go way back, like WAY back. Matt and Brian met in 2nd grade, formed a strong friendship that lasts til this day. Brian is a former guitar hero champion and is a walking wrestling encyclopedia. Seriously, ask him a wrestling question and he will know the answer. You should test him at the wedding.

Ever since meeting Mike back in 2007, the relationship between Matt and Mike has been like a buddy cop movie...probably because Mike is a cop and they are buddies (though that cop one time forgot that Cleveland and Cincinnati are both in Ohio one Sunday while watching football).
