Reception invitations will be sent mid- to late November of 2024.

Are room blocks available for the reception?
Answer
Yes, there are a select number of rooms available for our wedding celebration. For Saturday, there will be 25 rooms available at a discounted rate. The deadline to book a room within the block is January 21st, 2025. Rooms can be booked at the Westin by calling and mentioning the "Richards/Cissik" wedding, or by visiting the online page here: https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1708553636501&key=GRP&app=resvlink

How do I RSVP on this site?
Answer
—Step 1: When you receive your invitation and RSVP card, visit the RSVP page by scanning the QR code on the card or by selecting it from the menu above. —Step 2: Type your name into the text box as it appears on your invitation. —Step 3: Select your name once it appears under the text box. —Step 4: Select "Will Attend" or "Will Not Attend" next to your and your Plus One's name (if your Plus One was included on your invitation). —Step 5: If you select "Will Attend," you can then choose your meal option and your Plus One's meal option for dinner. —Step 6: If applicable, please note any food allergies in the text box below on the RSVP page. —Step 7: If your invitation was only addressed to you and you are planning on bringing a Plus One, please include your Plus One's name and their meal selection in the text box. If you are NOT bringing a Plus One, please indicate as such.

Are you having a wedding ceremony?

We have made the decision to have a very small, intimate wedding ceremony prior to the reception with a select group of people (parents, officiant, etc.).

Are children allowed at the wedding celebration?
Answer
We kindly request that the reception be adults only. We appreciate your understanding.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We recommend cocktail attire, which can be defined as somewhere between business casual and formal. If you would like a more in-depth breakdown of cocktail attire, please refer to this Parade article: https://parade.com/living/cocktail-attire If you would like, please feel free to wear a color that coordinates with our reception.

What are your wedding colors/themes?
Answer
Our colors are darker-hue purples and greens. These are our favorite colors.
Question
Will there be an open or cash bar?
Answer
Our wedding celebration will have an open bar, so no cash is required. However, we STRONGLY recommend bringing cash for tipping. The staff will be working hard that evening and deserve the extra compensation.

What food will be served?

The menu is still being finalized, but there will be a beef entrée, a chicken entrée, and a vegetarian/vegan entrée option.
