FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mckenzie Gross and Landon Kraus
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 13th.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception are all taking place at Little Piney Lodge. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (pending weather), and the reception will be inside. Once you arrive at Little Piney, we'll be there all night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that our guests dress in semi-formal attire. Not sure what “semi-formal” means? Think suits or dress pants with a collared shirt for men (a tie is welcome but not required), and fall-appropriate dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women. The ceremony will be outdoors in a grassy area. Ladies, please take this into consideration when selecting your shoes!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 3:30, so we kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure that you have time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There is free parking on site at Little Piney. When you arrive you will be greeted by parking attendants that will direct you on where to park and will transport you by golf cart from the parking lot to the ceremony location. Cars may be left overnight but must be picked up by Sunday morning by 9:00 AM.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are taking place on a lake and we want you to be able relax and enjoy, and for your littles to stay safe and dry at home! But if YOU end up in the lake... we'll have towels on standby! ;)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What is for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will start with a classic Caesar salad along with warm rolls and butter. The main course will include beef tenderloin filet with a Bourbon Street finish and chardonnay-marinated chicken breast with balsamic onions, sautéed portabellas, and goat cheese butter. Sides will be roasted garlic and rosemary whipped potatoes and long-cooked green beans with smoked bacon and caramelized onion. A vegetarian option, rotini primavera with squash, asparagus, sun-dried tomato, and a light olive oil, butter, and garlic sauce, will also be available upon request.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely - please include any allergy related concerns or requests in your RSVP reply or reach out to the bride or groom directly.

Question

Where should I stay? When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

Hermann is a great town with a variety of lodging options - please see the Travel tab for a few of our recommended picks! The deadline to book a room in our hotel blocks has passed, but rooms may still be available at the regular rate. Of course, Air BnB, VRBO, and other rentals by owner are also great options!
