We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. We are requesting semi-formal/garden cocktail attire for the evening. Please refrain from wearing light blue & tan suite attire.
We adore your children! However, due to limited space we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event (with the exception of the wedding party’s children and those staying on site at the venue). If your kids are invited they will be listed when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes, the ceremony will be held outside by the creek and parking will have signs, you then will go back to your car and drive to the reception barn for cocktail hour & the reception.
Please arrive by 3:30pm or earlier, we want you to be on time and seated before the ceremony begins. There is tons to see along with mini highland cows at the venue if you wish to walk around before the ceremony.
We have chosen to do a barbecue buffet for dinner. The food options will be pulled pork, buns, Mac & cheese, beans & coleslaw. If you have specific dietary needs please keep this in mind as we will not be able to accommodate a different meal.
Big Rock Creek Rules for your weekend stay Couple: McKenzie and lan Golf carts 1. No lights (no driving after dark) 2. Reckless driving we will pull keys 3. No drinking and driving golf carts 4. No more passengers than there are seats 5. Keep golf carts on designated gravel paths Cars 1. No driving cars on bridge or grass areas. This includes no parking or driving on grass at the ceremony site. 2. Cars must be parked at houses. a. 4 at clubhouse b. 3 at elroys c. 2 at family cabin 3. No cars allowed to park at ceremony site 1 hour prior to start time 4. When setting up/taking down décor at ceremony site NO CARS on grass at any time 5. Excess cars park at barn parking lot (recommend all guests park at barn, for picture purposes) 6. Keep roadways clear for emergency vehicle Liquor 1. Tailgating is not allowed in our parking lots. Due to our liquor license, no outside alcohol or drinking is permitted at Frosty's, in or around the barn 2. Tumblers are for your cabin and walking around the grounds - keep tumblers out of barn and parking lot due to our liquor license Guests 1. Other guests on site - be respectful of quite hours 11pm to 8am 2. Please communicate these requests to your on-site guests 3. No parties allowed at any sites/cabins (this includes rehearsal dinners)
