Best Man and Father of the Groom
My dad, the person I look up to the most and strive to be like every day. Truly the “best man” I know. Never a doubt that he would be the one I asked to stand next to me on the big day.
Maid of Honor
Sister and best friend all in one! Mallory is basically the smarter version of me with the exact same voice and sense of humor. We are super close and I am so lucky to have her help throughout the wedding planning process. Being my only sibling, she has become a built in bestie and I am really lucky that we get along so well. There is truly no one better to be standing at my side!
Groomsman
Big Bro, known him longer than all the other groomsman (it’s not even close, really). Another important role model growing up and to this day. Dad to my perfect nephew Brooks.
Bridesmaid
Beth and I became friends freshman year of high school, but it feels like we've known each other forever. We became very close in high school on the wrestling cheer team (Co-Captains SHOUT OUT) and even closer when we got to college and joined the same sorority. Beth is a friend I can always count on and couldn't do life without! She is truly someone I know I will be close with forever and I cherish our friendship.
Groomsman
Met 7th grade year at Whitesburg Middle School on the basketball team. Didn’t really start hanging out until end of 8th grade/beginning of freshman year of high school. Quickly became one of my closest friends ever, and that has been true for about a decade now.
Bridesmaid
Kristen is the kindest and friendliest person I have ever met. Kristen and I went to high school together, but ended up becoming much closer in college. We were in the same sorority and were roommates for 2 years. I can always count on Kristen to laugh at my jokes and she is always down to have fun. If you aren't already friends with Kristen, you probably will be after this wedding!
Groomsman
Met in middle school but didn’t become friends until sophomore year of high school. If you know John you know he’s the life of every party, and as loyal a friend as they come.
Bridesmaid
Lauren has been a close friend of mine since high school. When we first started hanging out I found her to be pretty intimidating, but quickly realized she's a big softie. Lauren and I can talk for hours and she has always been a friend I go to for advice. She is trustworthy, funny and genuine. She is recently engaged (shout-out Grant) and it has been so fun to share this time in our lives together!
Groomsman
Met on the little league baseball field at an early age. Became good friends in high school and best friends throughout college. A fellow scary movie enthusiast, and there were countless nights in college spent binging Netflix horror movies.
Bridesmaid
Christy was one of my first new friends freshman year of high school. We quickly hit it off and have been besties ever since! After college, Christy and I were roommates for 2 years and Christy is 100% the best roommate in the world (Michael you are a lucky man). Christy and I are exact opposites in a lot of areas which is why I think our friendship is so awesome. Christy is so thoughtful and funny and I am lucky to have called her a friend for so long!
Groomsman
Met early on during rec league sports. Started hanging out a lot in high school over at the Perez household. Cay-dog always knows what to say to make me laugh.
Bridesmaid
Alli and I became friends in college. Alli is one of the only girls in my close friend group who didn't go to high school with us and isn't from TN, but you would never know because of how close we all are with her. She is one of the most thoughtful friends and is always hosting an event for our friend group. Alli and Thom (her fiance) are actually getting married 3 weeks before Clay and I and I love that we get to share all of these big life events together!
Groomsman
Met on the basketball court in high school (where I was clearly the better shooter). Survived Fiji pledgeship together at Auburn and became really great friends ever since. He’s got me beat on the golf course, but I can still outshoot him on the hardwoods.
Bridesmaid
Paige is a friend from UT who kind of fell in to our friend group. She was living with Kristen in the sorority house our sophomore year and just got adopted into the group and has been one of my best friends ever since! Even when Paige transferred to UGA (booooooooo) our junior year of college, we all stayed very close with her. Paige is such a great listener and kind soul. I'm lucky to have stayed so closer with her even though we haven't lived in the same state for years!
Groomsman
Met at Auburn freshman year. I don’t even really remember getting to know Brayden, it seemed like the first day we met we had been friends forever. A guaranteed good time whenever hanging out with Braydo.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is Clay's younger sister and now mine as well! She has been so welcoming and kind since the first day I met her and I am so lucky to have her as family now. Something I love about Rachel is how enthusiastic she is about everything because she can make even the smallest events sound like the best time ever. She is so smart and wise beyond her years and I consider her not just my sister-in-law but also my close friend.
Groomsman
Met at Auburn freshman year. OC is as genuine and nice as they come. Became really close friends at the AU rec center where we handed out buckets on court 2 daily, as well as brought home a Fiji Intramural Basketball Championship.
Bridesmaid
Brianna is Clay's brothers wife and now my Sister-in-law! Bri is basically the big sister I never had and always wanted and someone who I look up to a lot. She is an amazing wife and mom and I know that I can go to her for any advice down the road and trust her opinion. She is also so hilarious and LOVES a good prank.
