Brady and McKenzie both attended Monmouth College in 2016. As freshmen, Brady and McKenzie were enrolled in several of the same classes, unbeknownst to each other.. Though their paths may have crossed many times during their first two years of college, it wasn't until their junior year when their paths finally merged. Brady and his group of friends would hangout outside of their dorm building on the benches next to the tennis courts. During this time, McKenzie was beginning her junior year tennis season and would practice every evening on the courts with her team. Brady had spotted McKenzie practicing every evening and became smitten by her, but never acted upon this crush. It wasn't until summer break that Brady mustered up the courage to message the cute girl that he had been spying on at the tennis courts. Though the conversation was but minutes long, he had alerted her of his presence and made his first impression. Brady did not message McKenzie again for the rest of the summer.... Brady and McKenzie returned to Monmouth for their final year of college, and on the first day of classes, McKenzie spotted Brady walking across campus. She was quickly reminded of their short-lived conversation a few months back, and wondered why he had never reached out again. She quickly got in touch with him and restarted a conversation. It was that same day that they decided to hangout, and they immediately knew that there was going to be more to their story. Brady and McKenzie fell head over heels for each other. Though the pandemic had cut their senior year short and led them back to their home towns that were an hour apart from each other, they still managed to visit each other. Eventually, they decided that the distance was challenging and made the choice for McKenzie to move to Bartonville into their first apartment together in 2020. They each graduated college remotely and started their own careers. In 2022, they purchased their first home together. This home is now filled with four sweet cats, a very good dog, and two love birds who ARE GETTING MARRIED!!! We cannot wait for you all to be a part of and witness the rest of our story.
