Wedding Party

Meet our wedding party walking down the aisle with us!

Kelley Shanahan

Maid of Honor

I met Kelley at UW where we were in the same pledge class and hit it off. We both moved to SF after college, lived together for a year in Cow Hollow and then another 2 years in the Marina so she's been there since the beginning and was one of my first friends to meet Jason! One thing everyone will say about Kelly is she is really just an amazing, reliable, and consistent friend. Pre-Jason, Kelley was my go-to date for work holiday parties and my Napa buddy whenever my parents came to visit. We still see each other weekly for coffee, dinner or spontaneous walks around the city!

Kayva Crawford

Maid of Honor

Kayva and I were also in the same pledge class and became fast friends! Kayva is incredibly poised and literally one of the most humble people I know! I can call on her for anything and ask any ridiculous medical question and she will have an answer. Post-college, Kayva moved to Boston for medical school and is now in residency at UC San Diego so needless to say we've mastered our long distance friendship. We've met up in Portland, San Diego, Seattle, SF, Boston and NY while living in 2 different cities, and most recently took a trip to Japan which was 10/10. Kayva is also getting married in 2021 and I'm lucky to be her MOH :)

Laura Arias

Bridesmaid

Laura and I met in middle school so she has definitely seen me at my worst! I believe we were paired together for a gro-beast science lab (?) and I completely rewrote our experimentation because I didn't like what she wrote. She is truly one of the funniest people I know and extremely down to earth. Laura is one of those friends where you can always pick up where you left off no matter how much time has passed. I wouldn't want to go 10 years without talking to Laura, but if I had to, it would never be awkward. Laura is also getting married the week after us so we're excited to plan our weddings together in all of this mayhem.

Madison Mangialardi

Bridesmaid

I met Madison my sophomore year of college and she was my "little" at ADPi. I remember getting off work or babysitting late in the summer and Madison would stay up until like midnight/1am to let me in so I could crash in Bellevue instead of driving home. She's always been one of the most responsible people I know, constantly balancing a million things, while still managing to be an amazing friend. Over the last ~9 years, Madison has been one of my most consistent friends. Madison is incredibly reliable, gives the best advice and has a sneaky sense of humor :)

Jessica Bridges

Bridesmaid

Jessica has literally been there since day one! We're cousins and she's just one year older than me so we've really grown up together. At a young age, I was coercing Jessica to pull pranks with me and she would, reluctantly. One of my first jobs was at Overlake Golf & Country Club working in the snack bar with Jessica the year before starting college, and we have more stories than the character limit of this section so I'll leave it at that. She also has an incredibly big heart and would do anything for the people in her life!

Nicole Tityunnik

Bridesmaid

Nicole is Jason's sister who I met early on while we were dating! At the time, she was 18/19 years old and it's been really cool to see her become this independent and unstoppable force. Nicole is extremely positive and caring, always putting the needs of others before herself. Not to mention, she consistently translates for me when the family is speaking Russian (appreciate you!) so I have some clue as to what's going on. I'm excited to be her sister-in-law and build more memories in the coming years!

Mariah Beck

Bridesmaid

Mariah is one of my closest college friends! We were quite the dynamic duo as recruitment chairs for 2 years and we've been bonded ever since (bc recruitment is an experience like no other!). Whenever I dream up a fun girl's trip, Mariah is one of the first people I call because she's always fun to be around and incredibly laid back. We've had trips to Hawaii, Santa Fe and SF visits over the last few years. I'm excited to head back to Santa Fe for the bachelorette with her!

Martin Leyva - Millan

Best Man

Martin and I have been friends for nearly half of our lives. He knows me better than nearly anyone. We've joked our way through 13 years, and gotten in or out of some hilarious situations. I know I can call on Martin whenever and wherever. If it's for a quick beer or a prison rescue, he'll be there, and we'll have a blast doing it.

Chad Blenz

Groomsman

Chad and I met a few years back on a family wine tasting trip. We immediately hit it off and were even wearing the same outfit. Many trips and laughs later, I couldn't imagine the wedding without him being a big part of it. For those who have seen the engagement drone video, you can thank Chad for that. Chad is a fun-loving whirlwind of a guy and McKenna's brother.

Michael Hay

Groomsman

Some friendships are measured in years, others are measured in miles. Michael and I have walked miles through Skid Row, driven miles through Eastern European coast lines, swam what felt like a mile in the Adriatic, ran a mental marathon in Cabo, and boated a nautical mile or two. Hay will be tacking on a few more miles, flying here from Australia by way of Canada.

Jono Loeser

Groomsman

Every recent era of my life has brought new friends with it (HS, college, post-college, work, etc). It can be hard to stay in touch with friends, as you move from era to era. Jono has been a staple for every single one. We met in H.S. We alternated visits while down at UCLA (me) and USC (Jono). We roomed together in our first S.F. apt away from our parents, and snuck in some travel in between. Jono is a great friend that never hesitates to call me out or dig a little deeper; I thank him for that.

Dylan Price

Groomsman

Dylan is one of my oldest and closest college friends. From pledge quarter to the Champagne Towers, we've made some crazy memories. He's one of the nicest people I know and he's rarely a part of a dull moment. We've traveled throughout the world together - most recently visiting, Iceland, Croatia, Portugal, and Norman, Oklahoma.

Igor Ryzhikov

Groomsman

Igor and I first met in high school. One of our first hugs started and stopped with him gingerly punching me in the face; coordination isn't one of his strong suits. Bumpy start withstanding, he's been a phenomenal friend ever since. From HS parties in the 415 to meeting our wives in 418 and beyond, it's been a blast growing up together. Pumped for the new chapter in the 206.

Brice Randolph

Groomsman

Brice is Jason's little bro from his fraternity at UCLA. We quickly became friends early in college, connecting over thinking about math, astronomy, and the 4th dimension. He's my most intellectually accomplished and curious friend. The kind of person who'll consistency bring a math textbook to the gym, but then be ready to go out right after. A great human, who's getting ready to impart his thirst for knowledge to the next generation of students.

Tyler Ramsey

Groomsman

Tyler is the sweetest guy I know. Though it feels like he's got a decade on me, he's actually younger! When we first met in college, it seemed like he was only a few days away from marriage. He managed to hold out for a few more years. Eventually, the time came and he met his lovely wife, Katrina, but the fun didn't stop there. They hit it off with McKenna immediately, and we made a habit of frequent trips up to Tahoe and Napa. We've got lots of awesome memories under the belt. I know I'm excited for many more, especially now that they've got a sweet little daughter, Aspen.

Monica Haggarty

Officiant

Monica was one of McKenna's very first roommates in SF! She was the first person to know McKenna and Jason as a couple and quickly gave her stamp of approval. It only makes sense that she'd be the person to give her "official" stamp of approval and join us as a married couple. We are beyond excited to have Monica marry us at Roche Harbor!

Sofia Mankevich

Flower Girl

Sofia is Jason's youngest sister who will be juggling two roles at the wedding -- our flower girl and ring bearer! Sofia is 12 years old, but has always been unbelievably mature for her age. She always joins us for wine tasting in Napa/Sonoma with the family (Martinellis for her!) or visits us in Russian Hill to play tennis and grab sandwiches! Sofia is a talented ballerina who was in the SF Nutcracker last year, and is constantly twirling or doing cartwheels around the house. If we're lucky, maybe she will throw down some moves at the wedding.
