Getting to Roche Harbor

If you are traveling from out of state, below are the options for getting to Roche Harbor Resort which is on the San Juan Island. You can then scroll below for more details on each option. 1. Fly into SeaTac or Paine Field (PAE), rent a car to drive to Anacortes Ferry Terminal, ferry to Friday Harbor & drive 20 mins to Roche Harbor. 2. Uber or take a shuttle from either airport to Anacortes Ferry Terminal and walk on the ferry. Upon arrival in Friday Harbor, you'll need to arrange a shuttle or Uber to get you to the resort (20 min drive). 3. Fly to SeaTac and Uber to Kenmore Air on Lake Union (20 min). Take a seaplane from Lake Union directly to Roche Harbor.

Drive & Ferry

Drive to Anacortes Ferry Terminal and purchase a round-trip ticket to Friday Harbor, which is the only ferry terminal on San Juan Island. After getting off the ferry, it's a 20-minute drive to Roche Harbor resort. *Important* Washington state ferry reservations are released in thirds. Once the schedule is published, we'll provide you with the date you will need to make your reservation. Reservations fill up quickly so you'll want to make sure you visit the site in advance and determine what ferry time you want to target so you're ready. One-third of the reservations for all sailings are released 2 months before the "season" begins. This is the date you'll want to target getting your reservation. Check back for updated information.

Flight

Seaplane

Several companies offer regularly scheduled flights from all over the Northwest to Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. Kenmore Air is the only one to fly regularly scheduled services from Seattle directly to our resort (via seaplane), and also flies into Friday Harbor. *Note: San Juan Airlines and NW Sky Ferry both fly from Anacortes to the Roche Harbor airfield and Friday Harbor.

Rental Car

Shuttle & Ferry

Bellair Shuttle offers multiple runs everyday of the week, with pick-up/drop-off in Sea-Tac or downtown Seattle to the Anacortes ferry terminal, or southbound for your return home. Rates are $50-65 each way, not including ferry fare.

Lodging at Roche Harbor

We've included all of the lodging accommodation options at Roche Harbor resort, but you can also reserve an Airbnb if you prefer. Just keep in mind that you will need a car to get around, or you will need to rely on the shuttle transportation, which is more infrequent.

Quarryman Hall is Roche Harbor's newest addition, but situated right next to Hotel de Haro.

Harbor View and Lagoon View Condos

1-3 bedroom mini residences on the west side of the marina and about a six minute walk to the resort center. All accommodations feature full kitchens, living rooms with TV, fireplace, pull-out sleeper sofa and as many bathrooms as there are bedrooms.

Village Homes

Ranging from 2-4 bedrooms, these village homes are on the hill right behind Hotel de Haro and they are great for large groups! We have a couple of village homes included in our wedding block so let us know if you are interested. Note there is a 2 night minimum.

Historic Cottages

These two bedroom, three bed cabins are located on the east side of the resort about a four minute walk to the resort center. They include a full kitchen, living room, one bathroom, charcoal BBQ, fire pit & picnic table.
