Playing disc golf, especially at Beaver Ranch, is one of Adam's favorite activities. While most of the time Hannah needs to be convinced to play a round, Beaver Ranch is a course she will eagerly agree to. Nestled in the mountains and about 40 minutes from downtown Denver, enjoy this 18 hole course as you walk up and down mountain sides and play a challenging round while enjoying iconic Colorado foothill views. Tee times are required but easy to acquire, and discs are able to rent on site.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is one of Adam and Hannah's favorite places to see live music. Having been to over 10 shows since moving to Colorado in 2022, it certainly lives up to the hype. Whether you find a concert the week of our wedding you would like to attend (just not the night of please!), or you want to go for a hike in the park, or even simply check out the amphitheatre during the day, we highly recommend stopping at this iconic Colorado staple.
Adam and Hannah have been to the Denver Art Museum a handful of times and they have yet to see every exhibit. The Denver Art Museum is a day well spent viewing exhibits from artifacts, to modern and abstract art, to contemporary and classic paintings. they have something for everyone and often have an amazing visiting exhibit. If you do decide to visit the art museum (or even if you dont), right around the corner is one of the best deli's in Denver. Leven Deli is an iconic food spot for locals and tourists alike, and it shows because there is always a line out the door. While you might have to wait a bit, you'll always find a seat and the wait is worth it.
Meow Wolf is a one-of-a-kind immersive art installation that will have you staring in wonder and slightly confused. It is certainly unique in that we cannot accurately describe what it's like in there, you will just have to see it for yourself! Pro Tip: Meow Wolf is an acquired taste, please do some reading prior to making the decision and if you end up going, try to have an open mind!
