YES! Check that your passport is not expired, or nearing expiration! To apply for or renew your passport, visit: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/apply-renew-passport.html KEEP IN MIND: Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met. Consider the following scenario: A country requires that you have at least six months of validity on your passport. You currently have seven months of validity on your passport. However, your trip is two months from now. At that point, you will only have five months of validity remaining on your passport which is not enough to satisfy that country's entry requirements. In this situation, you would need to renew your passport before you can make your trip.

Technically, no- so don't worry about getting your shoes sandy (unless you want to!). However, our ceremony will take place on the Gabi Bridge in the Paradisus Resort, a beautiful scenic bridge surrounded by tropical jungle, leading to the beach. The reception to follow will take place in the Gabi Club at Paradisus, a chic venue with panoramic views of the ocean & a trendy beach hangout below.
Paradisus Playa del Carmen is separated into 2 resorts: La Perla (Adults Only) and La Esmeralda (Everyone is welcome). If you will be traveling with kiddos (we would love to see them at the wedding!), you will need to book your reservations at Paradisus La Esmeralda. However, both resorts are joined in the center by El Zocalo, or common areas, where you will find incredible dining, shops, the YHI spa, and more. Our wedding ceremony will be held on the Gabi Bridge, and the reception is to follow at the Gabi Club, in the common areas! Ryan and I will be staying at La Perla, but plan to spend our time wherever our guests are!
