FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress up with us! Semi-formal means cocktail dresses, dressy skirts or jumpsuits for women, and slacks with a button-down or dress shirt for men (jackets and ties are optional but welcome!). Think polished but comfortable—you’ll want to be able to dance and celebrate with us all night long!

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 3:45 PM to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the festivities begin. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome! Just be sure to confirm if your little ones will be joining when you RSVP. If they’ll be eating with us, let us know so we can include them in the catering headcount—or feel free to bring their own food if that works better for your family.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at a beautiful open-air venue. Don’t worry—we have a covered pavilion on-site in case of rain, so the celebration will go on rain or shine!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve included a few lodging options nearby on our website, but there are plenty of other choices in the surrounding areas to fit different preferences and budgets. Downtown Austin is less than 20 miles away if you’re looking to enjoy the city during your visit!

Question

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to see your photos and memories. Use #CCingForever to share your moments from the big day!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer capturing all the special moments, so we ask that guests keep their phones away during the ceremony. There will be a designated moment where we’ll invite everyone to take photos, but aside from that, we’d love for everyone to fully enjoy the experience without distractions.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we’ll kick off the celebration with a cocktail hour featuring delicious appetizers and drinks.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Since we already live together and have most of what we need, we’re not registering for a lot of traditional gifts. Instead, we’d love contributions to our honeymoon fund, which you can find listed on our website.

Question

Whom should I contact with questions?

Answer

For any questions, feel free to reach out to Caitlin or Cory. Just a heads up—please try not to contact us the day before or on the wedding day, as we’ll be just a little busy (you know, getting married and all!). If something urgent comes up, our Matron of Honor, Courtney Noiseux, or Maid of Honor, Haley Owen, will be happy to help.

Question

What’s the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

There’s plenty of parking at the venue, so feel free to drive if that’s easiest for you! However, if you’d prefer not to drive, we recommend using Lyft or Uber.

Question

What if I can’t attend the wedding?

Answer

We’ll definitely miss having you there, but we understand if something comes up! If you’ve RSVP’d but later realize you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make adjustments with our vendors and avoid any extra charges. Your love and support still mean the world to us, and we’ll be sure to share plenty of pictures and memories after the big day!
