Newburyport Whale Watch
October is a wonderful season for whale watching in MA. It is common to see Humpback whales, finback, minke whales, as well as dolphins, and seals. They offer a 4 hour tours off of the Newburyport boardwalk, to Stellwagen bank National Marine Sanctuary.
Downtown Salem District
A hotspot for your spooky side! Downtown Salem in October can be a bit crowded but worth the visit! Tons of immersive shops, haunted houses, delicious treats await! Ghost tours, trolly tours, self-guided walking tours, and lots of shopping. You can even visit the locations that were used to film Hocus Pocus! Make sure to stop in for a bite to eat at Gulu-gulu cafe and get your aura read at haus witch!
Castle Hill on the Crane Estate
A truly spectacular historic national landmark, and gorgeous Mansion in Ipswich. A wonderful location for a fall picnic, or hike in its surrounding nature preserve. They have marvelous gardens, immersive tours, and beautiful view of Crane beach. To walk the grounds alone is worth the trip, we definitely recommend the Guest of the Cranes tour.
Connors Farm
A wonderfully scenic New England fall farm, fit with corn mazes, pumpkin patches, train rides, live animals, and farm stands.
Hammond Castle Museum
An unexpected medieval castle in the middle of Gloucester with a spectacular view of the Glouster Harbor. Intriguing wonders await in this renaissance castle, with a nod to the macabre through a collection of real sarcophagi used in the most creative ways.
J.C. Phillips Nature Preserve
A lovely nature preserve that is 10 minutes from the venue. Sure to be a beautiful site with the fall foliage.
Bradley Palmer State Park
Another nature preserves 10 minutes from the venue, that is also sure to have beautiful fall foliage.
