Our favorite ice cream by a long shot. Megan's favorite is Salty Caramel. David's is Goat Cheese with Cherries alongside The Darkest Chocolate.
Our most regular casual dinner location. Located in the weirdest neighborhood in Atlanta. Eclectic pub atmosphere, interesting (usually really good, but no promises) food, and an endless beer selection.
If you're looking for a break from the city, this is the quickest way to feel like you've truly escaped. It is fairly quiet on weekdays, busy on weekends. Head straight for the river and the trail that parallels it!
A great variety of restaurants and shops in a small space. This is where we eat when we can't decide where to eat. Parking can be an adventure. Unless you have a handicap permit; we find parking quite easy.
A more expansive version of Krog Street Market, with more shops than restaurants (but still plenty of food). The chicken and biscuits here are a favorite. There's a great burger place as well.
Casual, reasonable, close to our house. We're fans of the Paella. Expect a wait during busy times.
You can't think Southeast without thinking Stone Mountain. Iconic, historic, and gorgeous if you can look past the amusement park feel. Try to visit early and beat the crowds.
This place is great for nearby coffee and a simple breakfast menu.
This is really close to our original house in Atlanta. Great drinks, homemade pasta, and a few excellent seafood dishes (octopus, mussels). Not the greatest neighborhood for walking around before or after, but Inman Park and Ponce City Market are close by.
