Maid of Honor
As sister of the bride, Lily (known by many as Phil, a nickname Sam granted her over a decade ago and just stuck) has been lucky to know Sam from the day she was born. As sisters, they of course have had their moments, growing up just two years apart, but their bond is unmatched — in fact, Phil was the first person Sam told about Tony’s existence just a month into them talking (which, for those who know Sam, this was a big deal…). Since meeting Tony, she knew how well he fit, noting he’s like the older brother she never had. One of her favorite bonding moments was when the trio went to a Mt. Joy concert at Red Rocks — a yearly tradition the sisters share. Loving the band and the music and venue, it was a beautiful night for all and holds a special place in Phil's heart. Phil is so proud and happy for the couple, from buying their first house and welcoming their new puppy, to Sam starting nursing school and Tony Teaching. SHe looks forward to welcoming a new family into her life and for more thanksgiving and ski trips at the Bodilys! Here to celebrate them both to the fullest, she knows as long as they stay smiling, their lives will be full of joy, growth, and adventure. Sam is thrilled to have her sister by her side, today, for the past 25 years, and for a full life to come.
Best Man
Mitch has been part of Tony’s life since he was six, first introduced to the family through Tony’s oldest sister, Vanessa. Not long after Mitch moved across the street and, as he likes to say, “immatured” into a young man, he moved back out but never lost touch. As Mitch continued to find his path and Tony continued to work hard, Mitch eventually found his way back into the family circle after asking his junior high sweetheart (Tony's oldest sister), Vanessa, on a golf date. Naturally, aspiring young golfer Tony tagged along, marking the start of countless memories together over the years. Mitch has loved watching Tony grow into the man he is today. Some of their favorite memories include high school football games, golfing, snowmobiling, and plenty of laid-back nights filled with games and, as Mitch puts it, drinking a little drink & smoking a little smoke. Now a dad to three boys (including our ring bearers, Ben and Vince!) and husband to Vanessa, Mitch sets an example of the kind of father and husband Tony aspires to be. He’s honored to stand by Tony’s side on this special day and looks forward to one day being “Uncle Mitch” to Tony and Sam’s future kids.
Bridesmaid
As the eldest sister of the groom by nine years, Vanessa has had the joy of watching Tony grow up since ’99. She’s always wondered who her siblings would end up with and, being the close-knit crew they are, hoped that anyone joining the family would feel just like one of them. After meeting Sam after Christmas of 2022, she knew right away her soon-to-be sister-in-law fit in perfectly and she’s been so happy to see the love and happiness Sam and Tony share. Sam feels equally lucky to have found not only a big sister like Vanessa, but also a role model & friend, deeply appreciating the trust, support, and guidance she offers about life (not to mention all the wedding planning help!). Vanessa & Tony have always shared a love for travel and adventure, and she looks forward to all the new places the sibling crew will experience together. Tony has always deeply admired his big sister (something that Sam notes was evident from the first day she met him), marking how special and important this sibling relationship remains, despite being years and miles apart. Vanessa is so excited for her boys to eventually have more cousins to play and grow up with, noting how priceless it already is for Ben and Vince (our ring bearers) to make memories with Uncle Tony & Sam. Some of her favorite moments with the couple have been on the ski slopes, watching Ben take on the park with his uncle and being there for the big proposal. We're so grateful to have V here to celebrate with us now and always!
Groomsman
As the younger brother of the bride, Ian has been in Sam’s life for 21 years. He fondly remembers all the times his oldest sister dressed him up, stole his Easter eggs, made him play school, gave him wedgies, or carried him around by his pants – not to mention being toted along to countless dance recitals, bake sales and craft fairs. Of all the places he's had to follow his sister, there have been some perks, such as Boston University move-in and visiting her in CO. Despite their sibling rivalry and constant teasing over the years, Ian knows that even from a young age, Sam was always looking out for him. No matter what was going on in either of their lives, she always had her “third eye” open making sure he was safe and steering clear of trouble. Ian emphasizes how proud he is of Sam and (though he hates to admit it) how much he looks up to her. Now that they’re both adults, he wants her to know that just as she’s always been there for him, he’ll always be there for her too. Ian’s most looking forward to celebrating at the wedding, having fun with new and old friends, and getting to know his new side of family better. Since meeting everyone at the engagement, he can't wait to make more memories with the Bodily family. He & Tony share a special bond as the youngest of two sisters, and Ian is beyond grateful to finally have a true brother in the family. He’s so excited to see Sam & Tony start their next chapter together and can’t wait to be an uncle one day!
Bridesmaid
As Tony’s older sister, Tricia has been in Tony’s life since ‘99. For the first dozen years Tricia had the upper hand in their brother sister rivalry. Her reign of terror was stymied when Tony grew into, what she calls her “big little brother”. Since then, they have joined forces to be the curly headed hooligan pair they are today. With Sam joining the equation, as a younger sister herself, Tricia is excited to have Sam as a younger sister-in-law, and the two have already developed a special relationship, quickly bonding over their love of crafts, plants, and Stevie Nicks – both are grateful to have found a double win as both a friend and sister all in one! While she notes it’s impossible to choose a favorite memory, one of Tricia’s favorites with the couple came during the family’s visit to Denver. They watched the Yankees play, went to the zoo (where she saw an elephant’s wiener), Millie shit outside on the grass, their dad passed out, and she smoked my first Pineapple Express joint. Good times man! The couple facetimes with Tricia nearly every weekend, and every time Sam visits UT her and Tricia swap plants. Overall, Tricia is thrilled to welcome Sam into the family (almost as excited as her daughter, Millie, is for Sam to be her aunt). She notes how obvious it is that the couple has found their best friend and partner and she’s so excited to watch their love grow, for them to begin a family, grow their love, and navigate all life has to offer.
Groomsman
Brother-in-law to the groom, Mike has known Tony since 2014, when he started dating Tricia and was first introduced to the Bodily family. Since then, they’ve shared countless great memories – from trips to Moab and family camping weekends to sand volleyball games, golfing, and snowmobiling adventures. One of Mike’s favorite memories is being part of the celebration when Tony proposed to Sam, standing with the rest of the family at the base of the mountain to welcome the newly engaged couple. He’s genuinely excited to see Tony and Sam begin this next chapter together and knows their shared sense of adventure will lead to plenty of amazing experiences ahead. It brings joy to mike to know Sam will be gaining the official title of "aunt" since Millie has been calling her Aunt Sam for years already. As a fellow mountain lover, Mike looks forward to many more opportunities to crack a beer with them and enjoy the red rock and mountain air together.
Best Woman
Not many people meet their best friend while dissecting a cadaver, but Sam & Ellie aren't most people. Moving to CO in 2021 for their Masters, the two became fast friends & roommates, sharing an impressive number of laughs & endless memories over the years. Ellie has been there from the start of Sam & Tony’s relationship (though at first, she mostly saw a curly-haired guy being pushed out the door). From ski trips across UT, CO & WY (including one unforgettable creamy tomato soup incident) to study nights, country dancing, & bar outings, Sam and Ellie have shared it all (including a shower wall). Through life’s highs and lows, Sam & Ellie have become family, always showing up for each other without hesitation. Ellie admires Sam & Tony’s love: a blend of friendship, trust, & deep connection built on laughter, understanding, and a million little moments. Tony & Ellie share their own special friendship (even if “Treat Man” made her dog Jack fat) grounded in humor, competition, & mutual respect. Sam is endlessly grateful for a friend who pushes her to grow while embracing every quirk. Though impossible to choose a favorite, of her most cherished memories is Ellie surprising her on the day of her engagement to ski & celebrate with. As Tony & Sam begin this next chapter, Ellie looks forward to the joy (& curly haired chaos) of their future kids and upholding her Auntie Ellie duties (especially in the athleticism department). This best friend duo will always be only a call away.
Groomsman
Tony and Wyatt go way back - all the way to little league football at the ripe age of eight. Between countless football games, ski trips (and some secondhand gondola smoke), softball and (barefoot) golf tournaments, and many shared family moments, their friendship has grown from two boys just playing around into one built on lifelong support through all of life’s milestones. Wyatt even credits Tony for introducing him to his wife, Ashlyn, and encouraging him to make a move at a New Year’s party Tony hosted. The two share a special bond rooted in football, family, and friendly competition (in fact, one of Wyatt’s favorite memories is beating Tony for $100 in a one-on-one blackjack bet when they were supposed to be playing with quarters). After welcoming his first daughter into the world in October 2025, Wyatt is especially excited to continue sharing life’s special moments alongside Tony and Sam. He loves seeing the genuine, compatible energy between the couple and looks forward to many more family trips, adventures, and memories with the newlyweds. While we always look forward to times to get together with the Tuckett's we always share the weekly tradition of delusionally hoping that the Dolphins and Giants may be good again one day.
Bridesmaid
Sam & Taylor met in CO while becoming self-proclaimed anatomy experts during their master’s program. It wasn’t long before Sam - initially intimidated by Taylor’s smarts and badassery - and Taylor - overwhelmed by Sam’s contagious energy - became fast friends. By the second semester, Taylor had moved in, and along with Ellie, the three became the best roommates in what soon became known as The Hen House, sharing countless memories amid the chaos. From late-night study sessions to nights out on the town, Taylor has been part of so many amazing Colorado adventures - camping, hiking, exploring, and yes… even skiing. As this Michigan med student continues to sharpen her skills on the slopes between study sessions, she’ll never forget her first attempt on skis when a three-year-old wiped her out (Sam was supposed to be helping, of course, but was too busy laughing). One of Taylor’s favorite memories is watching Sam & Tony swing dance at Sundance Saloon - a moment both hilarious & captivating in its chaos, so memorable that she hopes for an encore performance at their wedding! Loved for her drive, compassion, and ability to make everyone feel at ease, Taylor is someone the couple are immensely grateful to have in their lives - every time she visits the group lose themselves is happy times. Taylor is most excited to see Sam & Tony take on married life with the same joyful energy that once filled The Hen House & is so happy Sam found someone who can match her spirit and love of life.
Groomsman
Daniel and Tony have been teammates, classmates, and roommates during their time at William Penn – and these days, they simply go by good friends. One of Daniel’s fondest memories is visiting Tony’s Utah home over New Year’s 2021, exploring the state with the boys, and sharing countless laughs along the way. As a fellow traveler and adventure-seeker, Daniel says that every time they reunite, it’s even better than the last – they always pick up right where they left off, building on a solid friendship that continues to grow despite the miles between them. Both appreciate each other’s genuine nature, strong work ethic, and easy camaraderie, making their bond one that feels effortless no matter the time apart. Since meeting Sam in 2023, Daniel has loved watching one of his closest friends click so naturally with someone so special. He’s thrilled to celebrate Tony and Sam as they become husband and wife – especially as he and his wife, Sydney, recently began their own newlywed chapter after marrying in June 2024. Even as a more private guy, Daniel admits he loves love – especially when it’s for people he cares about – and couldn’t be happier to share in Tony’s big day.
Bridesmaid
Susie entered Sam’s life during grad school, sometime around late 2022, having graduated from the program a year prior. Initially a friend of friends, she quickly became part of the crew, joining countless nights out in Old Town, hikes, camping trips, fantasy football leagues, and more. In fact, Susie first met Tony on one of Sam’s intricately planned camping excursions, and once Tony realized she wasn’t who he expected, the two quickly became fast friends, sharing a sense of humor and outlook on life that’s unmatched by most. Together, the group has shared endless laughter - from Yellowstone adventures and Susie’s “Daughter of the Legion” stories to certain memorable hiking incidents involving moments better left to the imagination. Susie sees Sam and Tony as two of the kindest, most genuine people she knows and loves how their energy is truly infectious. As Sam and Tony continue to build a life full of adventure, laughter, and love, they’re so grateful to have Susie alongside them - always ready to match their humor, energy, and enthusiasm for embracing every moment of life’s journey. Susie knows she always has a place to crash with them (no matter how short notice), friends to connect with for the good, bad and crazy moments, and people that will celebrate all of life's good with her.
Groomsman
A fellow college football player at William Penn, Jacob quickly bonded with Tony over their late-night Taco Bell runs, NHL video games, ping pong, and sports in general (though Jacob always managed to kick Tony’s ass in just about every competition). Their college days cemented a lifelong friendship and were full of laughs, jokes, and memories. One of Jacob’s favorite memories involved a plunger and a long cardboard tube… an incident he notes didn’t end particularly well for Tony. Jacob credits Tony for having one of the biggest hearts and a truly caring nature. No matter how many miles or months come between them, they always pick up right where they left off. As a father to little Cambrie, husband to Caitlyn, and friend to all, Jacob remains someone Tony knows he can always count on through life’s adventures. Known for their shared humor, competitive streaks, and playful banter, the two keep each other grounded. Tony credits Jacob with keeping him humble and reminding him of the great people who carry you through life, Jacob being a perfect example of all that’s good in the world. Tony and Sam were lucky enough to be there for Jacob's wedding last year and are incredibly grateful to have him present for their big day as well!
Bridesmaid
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when Erin and Sam met (freshman year of high school can be a blur for most), but they became fast friends in 2013. Early in their friendship, they decided a trip to Boston was a great idea. Dressed for drastically different occasions (Sam in athletic gear and Erin rocking a stylish city get up) they wandered around the Boston Common and Public Garden, taking pictures with statues and ultimately missing their train home after getting lost. That adventure solidified the strong bond that has followed them from their Rhode Island roots through Boston college days and even a few years spent together in Colorado. No matter the occasion or event, these two always find ways to support, understand, and brighten each others lives. From high school concerts and spirit days to Fort Collins 5Ks and Denver hikes, Erin and Sam have continued to share a special connection wherever life takes them. Recently engaged herself and proud cat mom to sweet Nellie in NYC, Erin is beyond excited to watch Sam and Tony grow into their new home and continue expanding their family, knowing she’ll always have a place to visit.
Groomswoman
A friendship that began in Jefferson City when Tony was visiting friends over Thanksgiving in 2018, this pair quickly bonded over their shared love of politics and instantly clicked. They have a knack for knowing when the other needs them – even without saying a word. While they may not talk every day, they somehow always sense when to check in, and when one of them is going through something, the other just knows to call and say hi. Sam admires their special connection and feels grateful to share a similar sense of ease with Brooke, appreciating how naturally the two of them connect. Beyond bonding over politics, Tony and Brooke have shared countless adventures, Oktoberfests, and long conversations over the years – remaining close despite living states apart. Brooke credits Tony not only as one of her go-to people to call, lead, and talk things through with, but also (perhaps infamously) for tearing her ACL – a claim he may deny, though she has a scar to prove it. As Brooke and Daniel also enter their next chapter as soon to be newlyweds in October, both couples are grateful to have such complimentary pairs in each other. They are excited to watch each other's relationships grow and go through it all alongside great people, sharing an infectious energy of love and genuine friendship.
Bridesmaid
Back in 2013, when Zoë couldn’t find the gym and Sam was wearing toe shoes, it was hard to imagine the two high school freshmen would become as close as they are today (especially after one of their first hangouts involved a sledding incident with the McGrath crew that nearly took Zoë out entirely). Over their high school years, they shared countless craft sessions, cooking experiments, and trips to Block Island, Vermont, and the Big E Fair. They also enjoyed concerts, brunch dates with Grum, and countless dog walks — moments that solidified a friendship lasting over a decade. Sam remains grateful for Zoë’s authenticity, genuine compassion, and sense of humor, while Zoë is thrilled for all that lies ahead for the couple and knows their future will be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of dogs. No matter how many days, months, or miles that may separate the two, they share a special connection that no amount of time or miles could come between. Sam is so grateful to have this important hometown friendship carry into her next chapter, and Tony loves to hear about all the high school memories Zoë has to share about Sam.
Groomsman
Daniel and Tony first met during college – though they didn’t attend the same school – when Tony would spend Thanksgiving in Missouri with a teammate. Through this mutual friend, their shared appreciation for awkward humor and perfectly timed uncomfortable silence quickly took root. Sam met Daniel in 2023 when she and Tony visited Missouri for another friend’s wedding and connected with Daniel, appreciating how he tried desperately to fact check and defend her claim that RI had the longest coastline. Over the years, Daniel and Tony have shared countless trips, adventures, and questionable ideas since 2018. Daniel never misses a chance to remind Tony that it’s technically his fault that Daniel’s fiancée, Brooke, tore her ACL while skiing – despite the fact that Tony had hired her a ski instructor and was nowhere near her at the time. Daniel looks forward to keeping their Oktoberfest tradition alive in Kansas City and insists he could beat both the bride and groom in a foot race. He admits there’s absolutely no evidence to support this claim, but stands by it wholeheartedly. This pair of goons have always bonded over being a little too sentimental, a little too easy going, and way too much fun when they get together. Daniel notes that Sam and Tony are always a blast to be around and looks forward to many more adventures, laughter, and shared memories ahead.

Officiant
Laura, Sam's most open-minded & kindhearted aunt, will be officiating the couple's ceremony. Auntie Laura (or "AL") has been a guiding energy to the McGrath kids throughout their lives, always sharing wisdom, a sense of adventure, and genuine perspectives of positivity. As a fellow dog-lover, traveler, and outdoor adventurer herself, Laura is so excited to see the couple enter their next chapter surrounded by such joy and love. Sam & Tony are incredibly grateful to have Laura holding this special role and lead the ceremony. As they enter into married life, exchange vows, and make promises that will carry them through the rest of their lives together, they couldn't think of a better person to lead the way.
