The Wedding Website of Meghan E. McGovern and Tyler J. Eads
Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved room blocks at: COURTYARD PHILADELPHIA VALLEY FORGE/COLLEGEVILLE 600 Campus Drive Collegeville, PA 19426 While the deadline for our discounted room block has now closed, you can still book a room through the link listed under the Travel tab of this webpage.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Yes, we're providing a complimentary shuttle bus between the hotel and venue (right down the street). The shuttle van will run twice prior to the ceremony from the Courtyard Marriott to RiverCrest, at 4:45pm and 5:10pm. We have close to 100 guests staying at the hotel on Friday, so given this and the shuttle bus's capacity, we STRONGLY recommend that ALL guests be ready to catch the 4:45pm shuttle, to ensure both bus trips are full and no one misses our 5:30pm ceremony. The shuttle bus will also complete loops from the venue back to the hotel after our reception ends (around 11pm).

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Ceremony & Reception: 100 RiverCrest Dr, Phoenixville, PA 19460 (If searching "RiverCrest," GPS will likely bring up 100 Golf Club Drive; however, that address often takes people to the gated residential entrance off of Black Rock Road rather than the golf club entrance on Route 29/Collegeville Rd. The main entrance to RiverCrest is on Route 29, and the first door of the building will lead you to the area for our ceremony and reception.)

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

If you will be imbibing in the open bar during our reception, we recommend utilizing the shuttle back to the hotel or ride sharing (Uber / Lyft) as opposed to driving. For those who choose to drive, there is a free parking lot with handicap spots available right in front of the venue. The first door of the building when driving in from Route 29/Collegeville Rd will lead you to our wedding celebration.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire. Suits or tuxes and cocktail dresses or gowns are welcome. Please refrain from wearing jeans.

Question

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

Due to venue limitations, plus-ones are included only if specifically noted on your invitation. While we love children, aside from those children who are part of our bridal party, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We love that you want to share in our joy! If you are sitting in an aisle seat during our ceremony, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos to allow our photographer to get the best shots possible. Guests are welcome to post photos/videos during the cocktail hour and reception. Feel free to use our hashtag! #MegTysTheKnot We also plan to have a QR code on each table where guests can upload any photos/videos they've taken, for us to look through on our honeymoon and relive the best day of our lives!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We will be alerting our venue of any known allergies that our guests disclose when submitting their RSVP online. For those with dietary restrictions, there are multiple food options to choose from, including vegetarian entree and hors d'oeuvres options.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be two open bars for guests to enjoy throughout our cocktail hour and reception. For those joining us back at the hotel after the reception, we will have some beverages ready, and the hotel's cash bar will also remain open until 2am. Feel free to BYO as well, if you wish.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, please feel free to have it delivered to our home via the address in our registry. A wedding card box and gift table will also be set up at our reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM on Friday October 3rd. We recommend guests plan to arrive between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM, so that everyone can find their seat prior to the event starting. For those coming from the hotel, the Courtyard Marriott shuttle will leave the hotel at 4:45pm and 5:10pm; due to the number of guests staying at the hotel and the shuttle's capacity, both loops of the shuttle will need to be near full in order for everyone to make it on time for the 5:30pm ceremony, so we STRONGLY encourage being ready to catch the 4:45pm shuttle.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 11pm, after which we will continue the celebrations back at the hotel. We will have some beverages ready, and the hotel's cash bar will also remain open until 2am. Feel free to BYO as well, if you wish.

Question

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our Zola site (and purchase directly from our wish list), under the "Registry" tab.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVP by deadline was September 1st. If you did not RSVP by this date, we will assume that you are unfortunately unable to attend, and you will not be included in our final guest count. If you need to change your original RSVP, please reach out to us (the bridge and/or groom) directly.
