What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st. This deadline helps us provide an accurate headcount to our venue and caterer. If you do not RSVP by this date, we will assume that you are unfortunately unable to attend, and you will not be included in our final guest count.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Ceremony & Reception: 100 RiverCrest Dr, Phoenixville, PA 19460 (If searching "RiverCrest," GPS will likely bring up 100 Golf Club Drive; however, that address often takes people to the gated residential entrance off of Black Rock Road rather than the golf club entrance on Route 29/Collegeville Rd. The main entrance to RiverCrest is on Route 29, and the first door of the building will lead you to the area for our ceremony and reception.)

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

If you will be imbibing in the open bar, we recommend utilizing the hotel shuttle or ride sharing (Uber / Lyft) as opposed to driving. For those who choose to drive, there is a free parking lot with handicap spots available right in front of the venue. The first door of the building when driving in from Route 29/Collegeville Rd will lead you to our wedding celebration.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels

Answer

Yes! We've reserved room blocks at: COURTYARD PHILADELPHIA VALLEY FORGE/COLLEGEVILLE 600 Campus Drive Collegeville, PA 19426 Please act fast, as rooms are filling up, and the last day to book is Tuesday, September 02, 2025. You can find more details and the link to book on the Travel tab of this Zola site.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Yes, we're providing a complimentary 14 passenger shuttle van between the hotel and venue (right down the street). The shuttle van will run between the Courtyard Marriott & RiverCrest for 1 hour prior to the ceremony (4:30pm-5:30pm) and for 1 hour after the reception (11pm-12am).

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire. Suits or tuxes and cocktail dresses or gowns are welcome. Please refrain from wearing jeans.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

Due to venue limitations, plus-ones are included only if specifically noted on your invitation. While we love children, aside from those children who are part of our bridal party, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We love that you want to share in our joy! If you are sitting in an aisle seat during our ceremony, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos to allow our photographer to get the best shots possible. Guests are welcome to post photos/videos during the cocktail hour and reception. Feel free to use our hashtag! #MegTysTheKnot We also plan to have a QR code on each table where guests can upload any photos/videos they've taken, for us to look through on our honeymoon and relive the best day of our lives!

Can I RSVP online, or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We request that everyone please RSVP online via the "RSVP" section of this Zola site. Please note that the reservation system uses your first and last name, though we have found it is easier to access by searching your last name alone. If you face any issues with RSVP'ing here, please reach out to us at megty2025@gmail.com right away.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations, as there are a few other hotels nearby.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We will be alerting our venue of any known allergies that our guests disclose when submitting their RSVP online. For those with dietary restrictions, there are multiple food options to choose from, including vegetarian entree and hors d'oeuvres options.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be two open bars for guests to enjoy throughout our cocktail hour and reception. For those joining us back at the hotel after the reception, we will have some "BYO" beverages ready, and the hotel's cash bar will also remain open until 2am.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, please feel free to have it delivered to our home via the address in our registry. A wedding card box and gift table will also be set up at our reception.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM on Friday October 3rd. We recommend guests plan to arrive between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM, so that everyone can find their seat prior to the event starting. For those coming from the hotel, the Courtyard Marriott shuttle will begin at 4:30pm and run until the ceremony begins.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 11PM, after which there we will continue the celebrations back at the hotel. We will have some "BYO" beverages ready, and the hotel's cash bar will also remain open until 2am.
