The bottom section of your invitation is the RSVP card! Please detach the postcard, fill in the names of guests attending and drop in a mailbox to RSVP. You can also RSVP online in the "RSVP" section of this website.
Please RSVP by August 12th.
The ceremony and reception will be held at Moss Vineyard at 1849 Simmons Gap Rd, Nortonsville, VA 22935. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting. Please keep that in mind when selecting your footwear! In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the covered pavilion nearby. The reception will be held indoors at the vineyard event building, steps away from the ceremony site.
Our wedding will be semi-formal, so feel free to dress up in cocktail attire. Suits and cocktail dresses are perfect.
Yes! Your whole family is invited to celebrate with us. Please indicate how many will be attending on your RSVP card.
There will be a farewell brunch in the Skyline Room at the Omni Hotel on Sunday 6/22 from 9:30 to 11:30AM. Please RSVP on the "RSVP" section of this website if you are planning to attend!
We will have a shuttle bus to transport guests between the Omni hotel and Moss Vineyards. Guests who are not staying at the Omni are welcome to park their cars in the Omni Hotel garage and take the shuttle to the venue. If you prefer to drive, Moss Vineyards is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville and there is parking on-site. Charlottesville also has Uber and Lyft, though it may take a while to get a ride because of Moss' remote location.
When we travel to Charlottesville together from Jersey City we usually prefer to drive the I-81 route described in the "Travel" section of our website. When traveling solo, Jane prefers to drive the I-95 route or take the Northeast Regional Amtrak train. For guests traveling from further away, I would recommend going through the Charlottesville airport. The tiny airport is uncrowded and easy to navigate and only about a 20 minute drive away from downtown.
Nope! For those staying at the Omni we will have a shuttle bus to and from the ceremony and there is a wide variety of restaurants and shops in close walking distance.
Yes. Once you leave New Jersey, speed limits are no longer optional. Avoid going more than 5 mph over the speed limit at all times. It is considered reckless driving to drive more that 20 mph over the speed limit or over 85 mph, regardless of the speed limit.
Don’t pass other cars on the right. Don’t honk your horn unless someone is about to hit you. No lefts on red, middle-of-the-road U-turns, or any other maneuvers that would be considered “spicy.”
No. But "C-Ville" or "Cville" are accepted abbreviations!
