Maid of Honor
I met Courtney our freshman year at Randolph-Macon College. We instantly connected as athletes in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and went on to lead our own small group together. Courtney has remained one of my closest friends after college and most likely if you've told me something, then Courtney is bound to have heard about it. One of our many memories together was in college at the Late Night Buzz singing "Breaking Free" from High School Musical. I was the Troy parts and she was Gabriella and we were a crowd favorite (no one said that but we just knew that we were). Courtney is always the first person I turn to for advice and I know that she is a lifelong friend with many adventures to come.
Matron of Honor
Haley and I became friends during volleyball sophomore year of high school. Instantly, we connected over Christianity, goofy personalities, and way too many inside jokes. My favorite memory with Haley was going to a local Mexican restaurant during college break and having to call my mom to come pick us up after hours of catching up and a few margaritas. We always pick up right where we left off without missing a beat and I cherish the memories we have made thus far after, goodness, 10+ years of friendship!
Bridesmaid
Monica is my wonderful sister-in-law! She has been the perfect addition to our family and I have cherished our years getting to know each other. We have had plenty of fun, light-hearted, moments together but my favorite memories with Monica involve deep heart-to-heart chats about the important things in life.
Bridesmaid
Emily is one of my future sister-in-laws and I can not wait to join the family! Emily has such a sweet personality and I am excited to share more moments together in the future. One of my favorite things has been seeing the sibling relationship that Emily and Zach have and the many facetime chats we have together.
Bridesmaid
Ashley is one of my future sister-in-laws and I am so excited to be a part of the family! It has been amazing getting to know Ashley and her growing family. Every time we facetime she always making some delicious-looking homemade food, keeping up with her baby and chatting with us! I am so excited to meet her in person and form many more memories together.
Bridesmaid
Lyxi is one of my closest friends. We first met playing sand volleyball at the YMCA and then both showed up to the same church on Sunday morning! One of my favorite memories with Lyxi is Halloween 2021 when she dressed up as John Cena, I went as Roz from Monster's Inc. and we danced our little hearts out the entire night. Lyxi has the biggest heart and radiates so much energy and joy when she walks into any room. Most of our hangouts involve some combination of volleyball, longboarding, hammocking, or green drank.
Bridesmaid
Nora and I met at the Dorsey cabin after her and Steven started dating and now they are engaged! They are perfect for each other and I am so thankful that we have grown so close over the years. One of my favorite memories with Nora is when the four of us went to Hershey Park. We were running around like little kids, rushing to the rides and we have some unforgettable memories from that day.
Best Man
This man here āmy dadā is my hero, of course! He has taught me everything I know today and always said when the right one comes around youāll know and he was right. I have cherished so many great memories on the boat fishing from dusk until dawn and hunting up in the tree stand then almost falling out because I was so tired. When weāre both together we act like kids and constantly make jokes. I am so excited and grateful to have him standing by my side as my Best Man at our wedding.
Groomsman
Shane is my oldest brother. I could go on with everything weāve been into but we were āgoodā kids š. Growing up all we wanted was to start a band and we finally got instruments and called ourselves The Brothers Rock Band, I will never forget all the times weāve played mini shows and made everyone upset at times because we were too loud, or the countless hours and days we would spend playing Nintendo or listening to cassette tapes of The Monkees. Heās an amazing brother and Iām so glad to have him stand by me as one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
Jared is my newest brother-in-law and heās been a part of the family for a couple years. Even though we havenāt been able to hangout much since he lives across country, every time we do get together we have a blast joking around and annoying Emily, of course. I am looking forward to all the good times together in the future and to have him by my side at the wedding!
Groomsman
Rocky is my brother-in-law, heās definitely a one of a kind with his sense of humor, and never fails to throw a joke in every sentence. He will do everything he can to help out with others, and has helped me out when I least expected it. He has been a great family member to me and Iām so excited to have him stand by me as a groomsman.
Groomsman
Tyler is my future brother-in-law. First time we met I was so nervous wondering how I would impress him and make him like me. We met at Hill Top Berry Farm Winery and Meadery for the first time feeding goats and throwing all of the Meade away because it was so horrible. We then proceeded to Devilās Backbone brewery where he said he was competitive at games and I continued to beat him at cornhole. I would like to say we bonded pretty well traveling to Canada together, listening to pop punk music for 10 hours straight. Iām excited to be a part of this family and gain more wonderful memories.
Groomsman
Steven and I met for the first time spending all day at Busch Gardens running around like kids. We instantly became friends after that day, of course. Steven has been an amazing friend since Iāve met him. From playing video games almost every single day, to going fishing, or just hanging out, it is always a great time and never a dull moment. Also, building up my courage on the day I asked Rebeccaās parentās permission to marry her š. I donāt know of anyone else that wouldāve drove 3 hours to hide out in the cold and take amazing pictures of Rebecca and I when we got engaged!
Groomsman
Evan and I started hanging out a little over a year ago. From all the snowboarding trips, watching me get knocked out from smacking the ground so hard on a full send, he still never laughed but remained supportive š We also get very competitive when playing Mario Party and Call of Duty. Evan has been an awesome friend and Iām stoked heās agreed to be a Groomsman.
