We’re getting married!

He was a teacher. She was a nurse. Can it get any more obvious? *Sk8er Boy beat ends* Patrick and Colleen’s story begins in the Fall of 2015. The pair had their first date at a Cambridge bar and although the bar is no longer in business, our relationship is still going strong! Besides sharing a strong commitment to public service, Colleen and Patrick instantly connected over their love for the outdoors, world traveling, and sports! Although New York and Boston sports fans tend to not get along, the rivalry has been a source of witty banter over the course of the relationship. After a year of dating, Patrick made moves to Connecticut in pursuit of a great teaching opportunity. Despite the long distance in the early stages of the relationship, the couple remained steadfast in their commitment to one another. When Patrick moved back to Boston in the summer of 2019, the couple was ecstatic to be united in the city that started it all! Patrick decided to propose near the Boston Harbor on Memorial Day Weekend in 2021. Although stormy weather nearly upended the entire plan, Colleen said yes! Not even strong winds and heavy rain could dampen the celebratory mood that day. Now, 7 years later, Colleen and Patrick have grown stronger in their love for one another and could not be more excited to celebrate their special day with their closest family and friends.
