We’re going with a cocktail dress code—elevated but not too formal. Think dresses, jumpsuits, suits or blazers—whatever feels stylish and comfortable for that October heat. The venue is an aircraft hangar with an industrial-but-classy feel, so bring your flair and be ready to party!

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We kindly request that guests be 13 years or older for our wedding celebration. While we are keeping the event primarily adult-focused, a small number of younger children will be attending due to travel considerations. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Yes, we do! You’ll find the wedding registry under a dedicated tab on our website. There you will find a link to our Amazon registry! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that you RSVP - either online or by mail - by August 8th! Due to limited space and our vendors needing a final head count, we will be sticking closely to this deadline. Thank you so much for understanding - we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?

Answer

A room block has been reserved for our guests at the Clarion Inn under McEldowney Wedding for the nights of October 10–12. Rates: King Bed – $96.00 + tax Double Beds – $99.00 + tax To reserve, please call the hotel directly and mention McEldowney Wedding to receive the group rate. (760) 463-2545 Clarion Inn 901 N China Lake Blvd Ridgecrest, CA 93555 We’ve reserved 20 King rooms and 10 Double rooms—be sure to book early to guarantee your spot!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 20-30 minutes prior to allow time to get seated and settled. We’re so looking forward to sharing this special moment with you!

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, with the reception inside the hangar. The hangar doors will likely be open, offering an open-air feel. Expect temps around 70°F for the ceremony, but it cools down quickly after sunset (around 6:30 PM), so we recommend bringing a layer!

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair accessible. However, please note that since the venue is at an airport, there are aircraft tiedowns outside which create small divots in the concrete. The hangar itself does not have these tie downs, so it will be smooth and accessible inside. We just wanted to make you aware of the outdoor conditions.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be served at the reception! We’ll be a choice of either tri-tip (beef) or chicken, served with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, green salad, and dinner roll—plenty to enjoy!
