FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not listed, please reach out to the Bride or Groom and they will answer your questions to the best of their abilty!
Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you kindly RSVP by April 15th via our wedding website.

Question

What time should we arrive by?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so we kindly ask guests to arrive around 4:00 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the festivities begin.

Question

Will the Wedding be Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

As long as the weather cooperates, please plan for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Ladies, the ceremony does take place in the vineyard on grass, however there is a brick path to get to your seats, so picking a thick heel may be ideal. Dinner will be served inside the reception hall in a temperature controlled environment. After dinner, we plan to open up the back of the venue to allow the party to extend onto the patio and under the stars. Please plan your attire accordingly.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating indoors and under the stars, so keep the weather in mind when choosing your look. We invite you to wear timeless black—whether that’s a chic black cocktail dress, an elegant black gown, or a sharp black suit or tux you’ve been saving for a special occasion. Come ready to dance, toast, and celebrate alongside us.

Question

Are there additional plus ones or children allowed?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and we’re so excited to share this day with the people who matter most to us! If your invitation includes a guest, we’d be delighted to have them join the celebration! If not, we kindly ask that you come solo and enjoy a night of mingling, memory-making, and maybe even a few surprise dance moves. As for our younger guests: while we adore kids (and their dance floor energy!), this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives parents a chance to kick back, raise a glass, and enjoy a night off. Thank you so much for understanding, we truly can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes, there are discount codes/room blocks at The Cove of Lake Geneva, Harbor Shores of Lake Geneva, Bella Vista and Comfort Inn Suites Lake Geneva East. All of these can be found on the travel page of the website. There are other great hotels listed that are available, however they do not have room blocks/discount codes through our wedding.

Question

What is the address of the venue?

Answer

Providence Vineyard is located at 11510 Vanderkarr Road Hebron, IL. It is a large white barn located on the east side of Route 47.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from The Cove of Lake Geneva to Providence Vineyard (departing at 3:45 sharp, please plan on getting to the front of the hotel 15 minutes early to board). The shuttle will also return to The Cove of Lake Geneva (departing the venue at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00). The venue is approximately a 20 minute drive from the hotels. Uber and Lyft are also alternative options.

Question

What is the parking like at the venue?

Answer

Parking is limited to a lot right next to the venue. If the lot is full, an attendant will be present to direct you where to park along the road. Cars are NOT allowed to be left on the property overnight, so please plan accordingly. We will be offering shuttles back to the Cove of Lake Geneva and Ubers are always a great option. The venue does suggest scheduling your Uber in advance if that is your prefered method of transport due to the fact the venue is in a remote area and ubers are not always quickly available.

Question

Can I smoke/vape at the venue?

Answer

Providence Vineyard has a 0 tolerance policy for smoking and vaping indoor and will ask guests breaking this policy to leave. There will be a designated smoking area located outside behind the venue. Please be mindful of this policy.
