Matron of Honor
My best friend and best sister. Amber is the fun, nice one. She always brings the party and invites you in. I followed her and Nate to Dallas back in the day and never left them alone. I would not be me without her!
Best Man
How is it possible to love someone, look up to them, and not be able to stand them, all at the same time? I think that’s called brotherhood. He’s funny, charismatic, strong-willed, and always the first to show up and have your back… even when you’re completely in the wrong. I love this guy with my whole heart, and I wouldn’t want to fight with or against anyone else.
Bridesmaid
My best friend since high school and freshman roommate. I was blessed that she agreed to room with me and was never able to get rid of me. She is my random adventure buddy wether it be camping in Big Bend for the first time, chasing the Northern Lights in Texas and sleeping in the car, or going to Chicago for bingo. With her is one of my favorite places to be.
Groomsman
Anthony and I met in third grade, and we’ve talked almost every day since. He’s as close to being a brother as you can get without actually sharing blood. We share an arguably unhealthy obsession with sports and have spent countless hours debating every topic under the sun, from GOAT arguments to draft picks to why our teams are cursed. Loyal, genuine, and always there when it matters.
Bridesmaid
Thanks to my mom’s intro, Shelby quickly became a necessary part of my life. She is always my wise council. During our 5 am walks, she talked me through the start of Mitchell in my life. She is my go to!
Groomsman
Ethan, the little brother I never asked for. What started with him being my “little” in Sigma Nu has evolved into so much more: coworkers, podcast hosts, late night drinking buddies, and great friends. I will always have Ethan to root against Baylor with. We’ve spent hours on end stuck in control rooms with nothing to do, which turned into endless games of trivia, slap, Monopoly, and chess.
Bridesmaid
A welcome teacher relief. I quickly became reliant on Julie as my teaching buddy. Come to find out I was supposed to be her mentor when she joined the team. Even though I left her in sixth grade, I still ask for help frequently.
Groomsman
An old basketball teammate and my go-to travel partner. Countless backyard basketball battles and games of pool later, our friendship only grew stronger. The Burch's quickly became family to me. We even managed to travel through Europe together for over a month without getting sick of each other. A true testament to both our friendship... and our patience.
Bridesmaid
The best friend from high school. Laura has known me for a long time and seen me grow and change. She needs to be by my side as I start this next phase of life.
Groomsman
Jack’s been a great friend and my roommate since our college days at TCU (Go Frogs!). Over the past decade, we’ve watched countless games, seen a ton of movies, played way too much 2K, and spent plenty of time on the golf course. He has been there through all the highs and lows. He’s proof that adulting is a little easier when you’ve got a great roommate and an even better friend by your side.
Officiant
A big brother! I loved Nate from the first time I met him, even though I didn’t want to. He very quickly became a best friend and more family than blood. He let me live with them and adopted me as his true sister. And just wanted a dude to hang with. Between him and Owen, they were so grateful when Mitchell came along. We were so excited to ask Nate and are honored that he would marry us.
Groomsman
I first met Adam back on the little league field. Most of our childhood was spent procrastinating homework, playing tips, chilling in the hot tub, challenges on the putting green, and finding every excuse to not be productive. Adam’s got a big heart, an even bigger golf game, and has been a loyal part of my life for a long time.
Brother and Sister-in-Law of the Bride
The one who borrowed cash in high school and somehow convinced me to watch him play computer games for hours at a time. I used to be target practice for him while playing Halo and airsoft, but still have great memories! Ali and Wade took me out in Houston for the few years we lived in the same city and always offered a place to crash when needed.
Groomsman
One of the chillest and funniest guys I know. We became close friends through a shared love of sports, video games, and beer. One of the few people who could keep up with me in an eating contests. I miss our summer days shredding on rockband, cruising on the boat, and driving to the beach. A true friend and a guaranteed good hang.
Father of the Bride
The dad. The one who taught me to be a penny pincher and to win as much as I can. He taught me to play games of any sort and work hard. I am so grateful for all the lessons I learned, even if I still think I will be thrown off a plane for using the help button without it being an emergency.
Groomsman
A friend who’s as loyal as they come. A man with many nicknames, and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. He’s also the king of saying he’s “fine,” no matter the situation. Back in high school, he doubled as my tutor, and honestly, without his help, I’m not sure I would’ve made it to TCU. He’s the kind of friend who pushes you to be better just by being himself.
Mother of the Bride
What can you say about a mother that is always there for you? She is always up for a party, loves having FUN but will help in any and every way she can from pick ups at the airport to storing things at her house. Her unconditional love has shaped me.
Father and Mother of the Groom
The best mom and dad a kid could ask for. Without any exaggeration, I can honestly say I may have had one of the most fun childhoods of all time. From our times going to Ducks and Blazer games. To our time on the boat, and trips to Idaho, Hawaii, Australia, Lake Billy Chinook, Mt. Hood, and country music festivals. We’ve made memories that I’ll carry with me forever. You’ve always been there for me, no matter what path I chose. Whether it was going to GCU, moving to Australia, transferring to TCU, living with you while working for the Blazers, or moving back to Texas. You gave me nothing but 100% support every step of the way. What more could a kid ask for?
