A Portland classic known for Belgian fries cooked in duck fat, great sandwiches, and milkshakes. Casual and always worth a stop.

Definitely not the couple to ask for oyster recs but this place is great!
The Front Room
A great neighborhood spot for brunch or dinner. Cozy, relaxed, and consistently good. Tim recommends the breakfast burger (real adventurous, right?)
Flatbread Company
Great pizza spot that sneaky has a great patio/view.
Ruski's Tavern
Tim's favorite bar to drink a whiskey ginger from a pint glass that also opens at 8am. (Tim is writing in the 3rd person for this whole page if you couldn't tell already)
Allagash Brewing Company
Not exactly a hidden gem but everyone knows it taste better right from the source.
Bissell Brothers
Tim had an embarrassing performance at the stein holding competition here last Octoberfest but thankfully Erin didn't get icked out too bad.
Room for Improvement
A great cocktail spot with a relaxed, stylish vibe. Known for creative drinks and a fun atmosphere, it’s a perfect place to grab a drink before or after dinner. Don't let Erin order the mind eraser shots for everyone.
Eastern Promenade
Beautiful waterfront park with amazing views of Casco Bay. Perfect for a walk, run, or just relaxing. If you're lucky you might see Tim running with his inhaler in hand trying to keep up with Erin.
Portland Head Light
One of the most iconic lighthouses in the country. A quick drive from Portland and definitely worth the trip.
Picnic Point
If you find yourself with some free time on the Island, stop by Picnic Point to see where Tim proposed to Erin. Some of the rocks still have Tim's sweat on them!
