Andrea and I met racing on the Fleet Feet running team in 2006 and have since trained together for many races. We live in the same neighborhood in North Boulder. Beth and I were assigned each other as roommates freshman year in college & ended up rooming together for three years. My first time visiting CO was on a road trip from KY with Beth. She is my voice of reason, even Facetiming me from her office in Kabul in 2015.

Cindy and I were quick friends when we became neighbors in 1981. My first sleepover was at her house where we refined our make believe skills. We ran track together in high school. Cindy took me exploring when I visited her new home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Liz and I met acting in a play in junior high. We became friends running cross country in high school. We connect over all things French after both of us studied, taught & traveled together in France. We both moved out to Boulder first to work at Colorado Mountain Ranch.

Erica and I met through her twin sister Andrea when we joined the same Boulder running group. We trained together & traveled to race marathons in Houston & Chicago. Evelyn and I became friends in second grade while living in the same neighborhood. We bonded over Sweet Valley High books, Madlibs, & crushes on a certain "Jeff." Evelyn was always a gracious host when I visited her in NYC & San Francisco where she lived & worked.

Heidi and I met at a triathlon coaching clinic in Colorado and became friends talking about life while training for and racing triathlons. Heidi helped me process my grief & understand the biological system as my grandma was dying. Her fashion sense inspires me.

Jen and I met at 2 years old at our families' church. When she moved away, we became pen pals at 8 years old & continued to write each other through our 20's. Perhaps that's why we both became writers. We bonded through our mutual love for travel, teaching, & spiritual journeys.

Kim Freeman Chriscaden

Kim and I met at church in Boulder when we bonded on a mission trip to Kenya together where we were both training for marathons. Besides internationally traveling and running, Kim and I spent almost seven years meeting every week in a spiritual book study group.

Laura is my cousin. We've bonded over family summer trips to Bear Lake, MI, training for the Chicago marathon, and a road trip to Yellow Stone National Park where we got terribly lost on a trail. She has shown me the joys of the desert when we visit her in Phoenix.

Lisa and I met at church and were housemates for six years in our South Boulder condo. Lisa has always been a spiritual role model for me teaching me to trust in God. Our big adventure together was flying to Telluride in a friend's plane to run a mountain race. (Lisa on left in pic)

Megan and I met through Boulder's former Fleet Feet Monday night runs. Our friendship grew spending time together hiking, dining, dancing, camping, and road tripping. We have seen each other through several big career and relationship transitions in the past 15 years.

Molly and I met on the swim team when we were nine years old. We spent countless summers together hanging at the pool, made several trips together to FL with our families, worked the same summer jobs in high school, & learned how to drive & "cruise" for boys together.

Nicole and I were housemates with Lisa in South Boulder for 6 years where we explored the trails together. With both of us English teachers, we bonded over good literature, creative teaching, & the woes of grading bad essays. Nicole has also been a spiritual mentor. (Nicole in the middle)

Sephra and I shared the same massage office & traded massage for over ten years. We discovered that we made just as good friends as we do business partners. Besides body work, Sephra and I connect on traveling, hiking, loving dogs & exploring relationship dynamics.

Tana and I played mother & daughter in the same play with Liz in 8th grade. We were voted best butts at the cast party & now have dozens of butt pics together. We remained close friends through high school onward. Tana is my "go out" friend when I return to Cincinnati.
