Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP via your mailed invitation. RSVP is needed by May 1, 2024. Most accommodations will need to be reserved months prior to the RSVP deadline. Please see details under the accommodations tab.

Question

When should I reserve hotel/cabin accommodations?

Answer

We recommend reserving your accommodations as soon as possible! Cabins at North Shore Lodge should be reserved by 12/31/23. The cabins at Warm Lake Lodge should be reserved no later than 7/1/24. Please contact the bride in regards to making reservations here. If choosing to camp, reservations should be made ASAP. Reserved campsites typically book a year in advance and availability is extremely limited. There are some first-come-first serve campsites, but they are nearly impossible to find on weekends, So please be mindful of this! Hotel accommodations or Airbnbs should be reserved a few months in advance at least; however, it is best to check availability as soon as you know you'd like to attend. Keep in mind that off-site locations are at least 30 minutes or more from the venue.

Question

Can I invite someone?

Answer

Please only bring those addressed on your invitation. For example, if your invitation says "The Smith family", you may bring all of those who live in your household. If your invitation says "__ and guest" you may bring one person. We'd like to celebrate this day with our closest family and friends. Please do not invite additional guests without our consent!

Question

What attire should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for this event is semi-formal. Men: Dress pants, slacks, collared shirts. Optional: blazer, suit jacket, and tie. Women: Cocktail, midi, or maxi dress. OR dressy pantsuit or jumpsuit. Footwear: Dressy sandals, flats, dressy boots, dressy loafers, oxfords, lace-up shoes. (We recommend leaving your high heels at home since we will be at a lake).

Question

How far is Warm Lake from Boise?

Answer

North Shore Lodge is a 2.5-hour drive from the Boise airport. Traffic can sometimes be busy in the summer - especially on weekends. Make sure you plan your travel accordingly!

Question

Is there cell service at Warm Lake?

Answer

Most (if not all) carriers do not have service going up to and in Warm Lake. During your travel, you may experience a loss of service. You will not have service for 70-80% of your drive until you reach Cascade, ID. Once you turn onto Warm Lake Rd and head up the mountain you will lose service again. Ensure before you leave Boise that you have your navigation running on your phone. There will be no cell service at Warm Lake. However, WiFi is available. Check-in with the lodge and ask for their WiFi password. For your ride back you should be able to load up navigation before leaving the lodge. (Note that WiFi may not be the fastest - so try to use it for the essentials only!)

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Choice of prime rib or beer can chicken. Sides: Baked potato (with toppings), pasta salad, tossed salad, and rolls.

Question

What if I don’t want to gift via the online registry link?

Answer

That’s totally fine! We are happy to accept gifts in person the day of the event. We will have a table for cards and gifts next to our guest book.
